I'm not sure I'm understanding why it's good the FMA cast is gonna be Japanese? FMA's Central is supposed to be the equivalent to Germany. They're all European except for a few people. All Japanese cast shoulda happened with Ghost in the Shell.

LONG STORY SHORT, Representation is still important. I know in a way it’s like a reverse ATLA/Ghost in the Shell but tbh I’m pretty sure we’re all tired of non POC actors clogging up Hollywood. It’s a petty view point but I’m glad it’s an all Asian cast countering the previously aforementioned films.

Yeah I understand FMA is extremely delicate with a vastly diverse cast but this is still the closest thing we get cast wise to decent representation. It’s certainly not accurate but it’s getting closer.

Also I know this is a counterpoint to myself but SNK did the same thing with having an Asian cast when the only “real” Asian was Mikasa just saying
