It's part of a cycle. You're not alone in this happening, so please don't feel as if you are. And don't feel as if it won't come back. It will. Many times people lose their muse as a result of real life being too busy, or because they come to a place of contentment. It is a fact that people do their best work while angst-ridden (they call this the 'artist's temper', and it's true about all art - writing, included). You will find your muse again.

Take a small break, with the promise to yourself that you will go back to it as soon as possible. Whenever this happens to me, I read other people's works or walk every night or change something about my environment. That usually helps. *HUG* Don't give up your creativity. It's the only thing that is uniquely you.

It began with a collision. Not a life-threatening one, where body parts were damaged, and people would wail and lament a loss, but it would ultimately turn out to be a life-altering one that had something to do with racing blood, and tears, and breaking hearts... and mending them back up.

My notes: It was a tiny bit out of character to me. I couldn’t really get behind her waiting for him (and dating two other blokes in the process), but then the minute he gets divorced, she jumps him and says yes to marriage? Doesn’t really says “Hermione” to me.
