Kris || A New Type of Work
Kris had been in his office in the dead of night, literally, when he came up with the idea. Well more like thought of it. It took a couple of more hours or hard work before he was able to see that it was fisable and not just something in his head. He had been thinking of something new he could do, something never done before but something that couldn't be used by just anyone.
What took Kris so long to process the thought and turn it into something that could work was that the material he would be using as part of the machinery was deadly and definitely would be costly, like several million but Kris thought it could work.
He was going to be working with mercury.
The design of the gun would essentially be the same, the size of it only being slightly larger than a normal Colt M1911 automatic they normally had in the weapons room. However instead of the magazine holding something like 6 bullets it only held 3 because otherwise the bullets wouldn't actually exist.
A general idea Kris had was that in the magazine along with the barrel of the gun would be a cooling factor, something that would be able to keep the gun cold but not too cold and manage to keep the bullets in shape. Of course once the bullet was fired it would start to defrost and once it hit it's target, hopefully a person, the mercury mixed with an open wound would cause a poisoned death.
Over a period of several days, these turning into about 2/3 weeks Kris had managed to contact someone who would be able to help him with the design of the bullet and just the complications of the mercury being able to even hold a shape in the gun. The person turned out to be positioned in Amsterdam, his next destination so he was able to plan a meeting whereby a model of the bullet and the gun could be put together and hopefully tried out.
Kris had all the plans for the gun drawn up and had even made a replica though this would probably have to be edited to fit to bullets in. Either way Kris was heading on a road he didn't think anyone else had taken. As he had heard before, go hard/big or go home. Well he was going for it and nothing would stop him.
