So, Wally in ORAS, at least in their (your?) Journeys are/were 29 years old? How was he?

Thank you so much for this Ask - I’ve been wanting an excuse to imagine what adult Wally would be like for so long 0u0 (he probably looks about the same, just a little older now that Ikrit is 33 as of DxP REWRITE).

I guess Beni would be…his great-great-great-great grandfather or great uncle? 3-4 greats at least, since Mizumi is Ansy’s great-great grandma, & she was just a young teen while Beni was at least 60+ back then. He also has a Gallade ace, & that distinctive hair style & gray eyes. Also, the Wallflower itself was supposed to be a reference to Wally (apparently it was more obvious in Japanese?).

One thing I thought was cute was that Beni had a Sneasler (which is kind of a purple cat) & Wally has a Delcatty (another purple cat) >w<

Gosh, Wally. He starts off so small & sickly, but then through study & hard work, he meets you at Victory Road in a dramatic red flower field. I thought they were roses, but looking closer I could see they were red spider lilies - commonly a funeral flower, they symbolize the end of a journey.

He & Ikrit were probably study buddies, reading up on Pokémon together, battling each other, watching the Champion battles, etc. Ikrit often makes friends with people who are also smart with similar interests (like Pokémon & battling), so it fits ^_^

…now I kinda wish I could imagine what Ansy’s Unovan friends looked like. We saw glimpses of Skyla & Elesa being more grown up, but Bianca & Cheren? N? I like the idea of Bianca being the professor now. Maybe Cheren’s still the Normal Gym Leader. N…not sure. I have plans for him, & these two in the future anyways.

Maybe if I have time later, I can doodle ideas at least for when Ansy brought Ikrit to Unova to meet her friends / family. 8u8

I met my friend Jack in the woods yesterday.

It’s very early for them to be blooming but this one was in a kind of protected spot. Jack-in-the-pulpit, Arisaema triphyllum.
