Rules: Answer the ten questions, make ten of your own, then tag some people.
1. How long are your chapters, usually?
uhhhhhhhhh however long they turn out, honestly? for keo’s WIP, i’ve decided to just make every chapter the length of each scene/setting. generally, i switch every time they move from a setting or time passes, so most of my chapters have been pretty short.
2. If you could meet one of your characters, who would it be?
i would love to pal around with keo but banner seems like a cool guy to follow around too
3. If you could meet any fictional character (not yours), who would it be?
TEMERAIRE and laurence too i guess
4. Which character is the most fun to write?
eli, i think, but winn is a very close second
5. Which character is the most painful to write?
um rhiot is very emotional, and it’s probably difficult for me because he is kind of a vehicle for my own struggles with my religion
6. What are some of your favorite tropes?
long-suffering bodyguards, big buff teddy bears, SOLDIER BOIZ and criminals trying to redeem themselves. also DADS. put all those together and you get at least three or four of my characters.
7. How long have you been working on your current WIP(s)?
uhhhh i started keo for realsies in hawai’i. that has been. oh geez. four years? and i’ve done so little oh no
8. Are you working on anything that you plan to get published? Do you have anything published?
i wanna get keo published and i also have a short with tarquin and talzee i would like to publish, and then i had another short with eli and kawai punching robots i want to publish. i have two shorts i got published in my college’s little magazine, but idk how much that counts, because they literally just had everyone in the class write something to put in it. my first class it was about some guardian angels who could be seen by their six-year-old charge, and they end up being a group of train hobos (but that’s not part of the published short) and then my second it was just some stupid fight scene with a bunch of office workers fighting a rubber band demon.
9. What genre is your favorite to read? What genre do you usually write?
fantasy of various flavors: high fantasy, military fantasy, historical but with DRAGONS, and a bunch of fantasy YA stuff lately. if someone doesn’t get punched, i ain’t interested.
10. Earbuds or headphones?
both! i mostly use earbuds because they’re easier to take places and to relax with them on, but i have recently come into a sweeet pair of $70 gaming headphones and i love them so much.
i don’t have any questions of my own, but if you wanna use these questions or whatever, feel free to tag me in ur replies o3o
