wait what did she say?

G just commented on how silent the kid had been, and she said something along the lines (paraphrasing) of “Well, wouldn’t you be if you had been through that?”  The kid definitely witnessed a bloodbath, and that’s its own thing. At the same time, a big part of it is losing his mother. 

I had a knee-jerk reaction to it, but G didn’t seem to. So. *shrug emoji*
