Traitor!
“How?! WHY?! Erin.. Jesse... They trusted you! I trusted you!”
Lance could feel his body shaking, from rage and disgust. They all trusted Arianna from the beginning, made it all the way here and now it might be the end. He steeled himself, his anger taking over and his hand pulled Obsidian from its holster. Arianna just stood there, a half cocked smile on her face as she watched him.
“You don’t have the balls, you Americans never do...”
“Watch me, bitch...”
The Beginning Of The End
"Chen watched as the plane crashed into the runway, certain of no survivors. A soft laugh echoed through the empty office. Phase I complete"
S.O.A.R
Special ops and reconnaissance was made in the wake of tension between the U.S and Chinese government. What did the U.S government fear more that nuclear warfare? Why only assign 4 people to this force?

A few words about the album’s title track (listen here) About the song, guitarist Blake Allison said, "'S.O.A.R.' is an acronym for 'Suffer, Overcome, And Recover.' It references the true nature of hard work, dedication, and the feeling of strength through any process. When the pressure of life and all its struggles has beaten you down, it's what one does in response that really matters and makes us grow as human beings."

S.O.A.R.-in'... Pt.4
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 As daft punk says, despite all of my hate. here we go, "One More Time." Just a little intro to get you back in the swing of things:
I little note I wrote to myself, while lying on a really uncomfortable bed...
Pay no attention to the time on the ipod, for the pic was taken at a later time*
Anywho...
The next morning I weirdly... and I mean weirdly... Woke up at the exact same time as my roommate, at six in the morning, even though staying awake way later. (Till abut one/one-thirty A.M.) We said "Hi" and such before he head out to who knows where at like six fifteen in the morning, when breakfast was being served at seven... I just sat in the room and tried to soak up alone time as if it was the suns rays. I think I just sat there listening to music being glad that I had survived the night. I sat next to a girl at breakfast who was introverted as well. She was nice enough, and we both talked about how the overnight orientation was not our thing... Her dd had forced her by just signing her up, while for me there were no more one day ones. After I was done eating breakfast, I thought it was cool how I didn't even have to say bye or anything. In high school, that would have been unheard of, but it was nice to not be part of a pack or anything. (A pack of people that I barely know...) After breakfast, packing up, and checking out, and meeting up with Kamara to put my stuff in her car, as she was giving me a ride home, the second, not as magical day began. Believe me, when I say not as magical, I mean that as a good thing. For we were about to cut the crap, and do what we came for... We travelled to a second check in, and then sat down for another presentation in the presence of Parents who were also being oriented. We were soon to be divided up into different groups, based on what college within the university our majors were a part of. Luckily Kamara and I were within the same group, which meant I didn't have to either be completely alone or try to make new "friends." We were whisked away to the college of liberal arts...
I remember I was freaked out because I had no idea where Psychology was gonna be and my biggest fear was that I was gonna miss my group. Interestingly enough, I ended up in the same group as Kamara and my roommate.
But first, a cheesy scavenger hunt had to take place. We traveled from place to place as was described on the piece of paper we found in each location.
I was so exhausted at this point... and obesity was not being so kind.
During the scavenger hunt we stopped in a Starbucks and some people bought some drinks. I decided against it.
After the scavenger hunt was over, we went to a room where we began a Q&A session and we also learned about getting a Bachelors degree.. It was kind of cheesy, but I liked this part actually. We also did some getting to know exercises and other things until lunch.
We had El Pollo Loco for lunch and I had fun discussing typology with Kamara and chillin' as we ate, and planned "work out wednesdays." Things were pretty chill until we almost got lost on the way back to our classroom.
When we arrived within the classroom once again, Kamara and I ended up separated. At first I thought it had to do with major, but I eventually found out,
"It was because we sucked." -Kamara P.
They were separated from us because they were going to have to take remedial classes...
We then learned how to make our schedules and created a sample or gaol schedule to take into the computer lab. This part took me a while. I was trying not to have early classes so I could just come in all late and never have to get up before eight again! Lol.
It took forever to get it figured out, and when I did I went to the computer lab, where more drama ensued.
I was having so many conflicts and classes were out of room and everything...
But then I was helped by these two chicks. They helped me beast up my schedule. And it the end, it was pretty kick ass. I start everyday at 11, and I have no math!
The schedule came out pretty good, but it was not easy...
As of now I am taking intro to Psych, Art appreciation, Classic Rome and Greece (humanities), an orientation class, U.S. History, and ...
...and...
Composition.
Gulp. Essays will fall from the sky like rain.
I left after I was done, and I was very excited. Until I realized I was totally lost and I had to find my way back to the parking lot from which I came. The campus was so big and spread out, but I just trusted my intuition and went for it. And luckily, I found my way.
Kamara and I departed soon after.
Final Thoughts:
The two day overnight S.O.A.R. program can be pretty crazy, but overall I think it was worth it. Although it was hard for the introverted of heart and obese of body, I survived. I feel like If I could do it, than anybody can... The program left me feeling excited for the future and for college in general. I feel very acquainted with the campus and what it has to offer. If you have kids that are going to CSULB, or if you are thinking of going there, I suggest the overnight orientation. It may not be easy or fun for everyone, but you will be very well prepared and much less scared if you attend.
;)
S.O.A.R.-in'... Pt.2
I feel a compulsion to put this here: Part 1 ((Once again I'm Sorry for the lack of Pictures.... I really should have taken some...)) I only got through the morning last time, honestly because as the orientation went on, I started to get more and more tired, causing my memory to fade :/ After we left the cheesy lecture hall, A grand tour soon began, filled with many little places that we would be seeing over and over again through the next four (hopefully) years. Various sights include: The Vagina The Awkward Pool The "Whale" The Prospector Pete (SP?) Statue Brokeman hall (SP?) The Controversial "Water-Molecule" Fountain ...Among many other marvelous things. The tour was pretty good actually. The leaders were really nice and they even talked to me. :') lol My group was... Surprisingly "Introverted", However, all the Extroverts Clung to each other and ravaged together in a pack for the entirety of the tour, and the rest of the day even. After the long, semi-exhausting tour, It was time for lunch, and I was very hungry as I had eaten breakfast very early that morning. I was almost impressed that I was surviving. I felt surprisingly sick during that lunch, as if I had no appetite, and I was nauseous from lack of sleep still. I sat with a bunch of guys from my group, and it was alright. It was kind of cheesy, but what else could I have expected? I asked them if they liked High school, and some said yes, others said no. I was glad to hear some no's. Apparently my kind of people are starting to take a stand, low key. After we ate they were all going to do something, but I didn't want to go, I just wanted to do my own thing. And say hi to Kamara... I went to my room just to try to get away from people, and found my roommate. He was (Poppin')Pedro, the Hispanic quiet one that I had attempted to speak with earlier in the day who was also going to be majoring in Psychology. I just remember him asking why I had brought so much stuff, since one of the letters the school sent us said that certain things were "optional." I didn't really know what to say so I just said I kind brought it just in case. We talked about if we were living on campus, and I almost said hell no, but kept it polite. He said that he was, and that he was from Compton. I asked if it was ghetto, and I don't even knew if he knew what I meant... On the whole he was just so... so... conventional... O_O The magical journey soon started up again, and our caravan headed to the university bookstore to get our I.D.'s. Soon after that we began the seminars. I think... Did we tour again? I don't remember... *calls Kamara* She sucks, she didn't answer... umm... *looks up itinerary on google.* Oh my gosh this page totally helped me. Before the seminars, we went to this random field and played interactive games to help loosen up the group more... We played a game of ninja, where you try to hit the other persons hand to get them out in one move intervals.. But I've hear horror stories of what others groups *Cough Kamara's* group did. A game involving tape... Putting it on peoples noses and then having to rub noses with someone until your one of your tapes come off.... Oh Dear God... After that we went to the workshops. Security, then after a semi-short wait, Health, and , "Getting involved" or something like that. Between Security and Health, I took this picture of myself...
...
I really don't know why... Anyways, I think it's about time for another break, after all, I think I'm feeling a little tired. :) ...To be continued...
S.O.A.R.-in'... Pt.1
I hate the fact that I want to start every post with, "Wow , It's been a long time since I last posted!" I mean honestly, what am I, like five? (No offence to five year olds.) Once again I have almost no focus as I post this... Or plan.... Since when did I become so aimless...? Oh yeah, when I stopped being depressed... lol I know what I can write about!!! MY EARLY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE!! ((Student, Orientation, Adivising, and Registration.)) Ok.... Let me set the tone. ((Sorry about no pictures in advance.. Kamara and I are lame...)) The Day was June 30, 2011. I was low-key upset that I had to finish my first of two journals of this year at the school. The night before my departure I was terrified. And I even had nightmares... About making friends... Yeah... Even I was kind of like, "What the hell?" I can't believe I still doubt my anti-social-ness at times... I woke up randomly at three o' clock, after going to bed at midnight. I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep for another hour, Then I woke up at six and packed. I decided to buy McDonald's, and I just pretended it wasn't happening. The Ipod and Phone were charged. I was as ready as I could have been. I felt totally nauseous from the lack of sleep. I was very relieved to immediately meet up with Kamara as soon as I got there. I found it ironic that I, as an Introvert was doing all of the talking. Typology was very much on the brain. I thought it was funny how my type acts like a Extrovert when stressed, and Kamara's acts like an Introvert. The check in line at California State University Long Beach stretched far in front of us, as we cheesily talked while holding all of our belongings. Sooner than later we were checked in and separated. (Luckily the line had given me enough time to chill out a little bit.) When I got onto the second floor of the dorm where my room was located, I just knew something was off when they asked if I was "Marcus". The Intuition had spiked. The funky chick at the check-in had given me the wrong stuff. Which meant the wrong group number. *Flares Nostrils* Luckily my real room was located on the second floor as well. I went out of my room, leaving all of the complimentary gifts I had gotten, like a shirt two sizes too small, along with all the other crap I had brought. As I stepped back out into the southern California sun, I searched for "My" Group. It took me perhaps a little too long to find group six. When I got there, there was drama, which I had expected. Looking back, although I was kind of funky at the moment, I almost wish that group six could have been my real group, plus "my" roommate seemed really outgoing, which would have made things easier. Eventually I made my way to group five, aka my real group. I could not figure out my roommate for the life of me. And I was either too shy or didn't care enough to ask. (I know that the answer seems obvious, but I really couldn't tell, It's not like I planed on being total besties anyway...) I found my group doing a cheesy activity to learn names... It was horrifying. We all had to do alliterationary terms for our names, and then go around in a circle saying everybody's alliterational name.(Mine was "Absent Alex") And then we had to make up a cheesy cheer. I was dying inside and felt like I had landed in an episode of glee. We clapped and sang to the tune of "we will rock you..." "Fly high, with the, high fives... x2" Apparently it was a part of a future competition... After that and other wondrous games, we headed to lecture hall that was very far away from the grass in front of the dorm. It was a big round room, filled with hopeful future students, and me. I was a little bit too fat for the seat... The person next to me didn't get to use their cheesy little desk because of it... They introduced us to the program, and the student body president, and a bunch of other important people that I don't remember. We were given a couple papers to fill out, then we had our cheer competition, and left after signing a waiver that made us promise to behave... and... participate. That was probably the hardest part. Our cheer was an epic fail, as the team right before us had the same tune... It wasn't even ten o' clock yet... Time travels slowly without the Internet.... ...To be continued...
