Wanted to punch Bones (& Scotty) here. Has Spock not proven over the course of 3 seasons that he in fact does feel, whether he wants to admit it or not?!!

Also notable is that this scene is the first time I believe Spock has acknowledged his human half and admitted indirectly he feels just as humans do.

Plus Jim coming to his husbands defence but ultimately allowing Spock to defend himself.
