Rich: I know there’s a lot of story they’re trying to move forward with this whole setting up a conflict with Dean and Castiel. So there’s that. That’s being set up. I have said this before and I will say it again, I completely- and this is one man’s opinion, I’m not totally locked in to how Dean responds to things these days. It seems not like the Dean of old. So I think he is more sensitive to Cas’s betrayal in a way. That struck me as, I don’t know, not necessarily Dean like. Rob: Yeah, felt like jilted lover a bit. Rich: Yeah, certainly building up an element to their relationship that you alerted to before, where you kind of go ‘okay, well I see where’s the undercurrent is coming from.’ Or ‘I see where the audience is picking up on the undercurrent from.’

dean and cas are discussing about the deal cas made with crowley.
cas to dean: where were you when i needed to hear it?
dean: i was there. where were you?
and then it shows a flashback of castiel watching dean taking care of the garden back when he was living with lisa and ben
there is something so sweet about watching someone (important to say that dean could not see cas) just doing their little tasks. it’s also painful that cas decided to not ask dean for help because he didn’t want to take dean away from the apple pie life he always wanted.
[but he was there. always.
