Having a black character as a villain or victim on one instance is not inherantly racist. But having no black characters that I can remember there are not victims or villains or both is really just awful rep, even for a 2000s show. Henriksen, Gordon, Roy from 6x13. Missouri, Alicia and Max are brought back just to die. When is enough enough? Gordon had one of the worst deaths in the series, and Roy is made the villan of the episode he is in even after he suffers a horrific fate, and its all Sam's fault. Still, the show frames it more as something Sam regrets and that weighs on him more than the injustice that Roy suffered.

Can we not for once have a black male character who is not evil? Even the villan of the season Raphael has to be black.

Dean loved Lisa. He might not have thought of her as the one, but she could have been his endgame. The whole point of wanting to hunt and have her and Ben was that he wanted to have a normal life with her as a love interest. They were cute. My fav female love interest (I love Cassie but she and Dean were incompatible). Lisa was so understanding about Dean hunting.

Sam, Ben and Dean parallels in 6x01 and 6x02 are soooo good. Dean has to raise another son and wants him to have a life outside the Supernatural as shown in that dream sequence. Ben is a parallel to himself, yes, but also their relationship is a parallel to his and Sam's. S6 on a rewatch is amazing.

In s6 Cas took matters into his own hands, became a god, and defeated their enemies, but in doing so, he created a new threat. His human family decided he had become evil and deserved to die, and they actively tried to kill him.

In s15 Belphegor was evil and wanted to become a god, which would have created more danger. A quick decision had to be made, so Cas took matters into his own hands, killed him, and ended the danger before it could develop. His human family decided this was wrong and blamed him for the entire fiasco.

Whatever he did ended badly. If he hadn't killed him, they would probably have resented him later for not doing so when he had the chance.

Raphael is my favorite archangel because she was the last one standing and didn't let it stop her from being a total badass- and she never takes shit from anyone- not her brothers nor her dad, the literal creator of the universe. Lucifer was cast out, Gabriel threw himself, and God just up and left. So she stayed loyal to Michael, the only one in her life who stayed. But when even Michael gets himself thrown in The Cage, she doesn't break. She doubles down. She takes it upon herself to do what she thinks is best for her remaining family, the angels, even if it means sacrificing humanity. She was the parentified middle child, who understandably took the responsibilities of ruling Heaven. Castiel couldn't understand why she prioritized the lives of the angels over the humans who tore her family apart, and so he villainized her. And sure, there was selfishness there, she wanted that power. But who can blame her, after everything she's been through? Castiel was arguably more selfish, sacrificing millions of people and the safety of the world through opening purgatory, just so that the Winchester's wouldn't have to finish the apocalypse. He disguised his mission as a chance for free will, but it really was just for Dean. But sure, your older sister looking out for her family is in the wrong. As much as I love Castiel, and don't want Sam and Dean to kill each other, He's kind of the worst brother ever. But you know what, he's certainly working his ass off to fix his mistakes. And I, am forever a Raphael defender. She's just tuff as hell.

there are 5 episodes with no speaking POC and of those episodes, 2 have no extras who are POC either.

this season kills off more POC than any previous seasons (though it's important to note that almost half the deaths occur in Mommy Dearest, where Eve turns half a bar into monsters who kill the other half and then die themselves)

six episodes kill every speaking POC in the episode, outnumbering all previous seasons.

My Heart Will Go On uses the g-slur for the first time in the show.*
