Rewatching X-Files and i forgot that by episode 2 Scully is already holding people at gunpoint to help her himbo partner out of trouble

they do not prepare you for getting two episodes into tos and being met with the most beautiful doctor you have ever seen in your entire life who’s yelling at people and staring at them with her stunning blue eyes like where was the warning???

i feel like ilya in this scene isn't talked about enough, everyone talks about shane being face in his crotch but my favourite part is you can clearly see how eager ilya is as well

he visibly loses his composure and rushes to stand up before schooling his reaction and allowing shane to move closer to him instead, allowing shane control of the situation - especially after what happened in the bathroom, he knows shane needs this

the subtlety of it is just so good, connor did so well playing him, especially since this scene is told from strictly shanes pov and we don't really get to see ilyas thoughts on it aside from the little things that connor portrayed

Arthur was yelling to warn him about every blow. Despite that, Merlin felt as if he were being hit from all sides at once.

The modest armour—breastplate and voiders—was meant to protect him, but it was so tight he could barely move his shoulders. The black shield with Pendragon crest on it sent violent vibrations down to his bones after every blow. The sword felt like a useless stick in his untrained hands.

His helmet’s rusted visor greatly shortened the view. Yet he could still see Arthur’s nasty face. The prat was clearly going to run him to death…

Is destiny always that unjust?
