“I have the Blade.”
Wanted to make this art for some weeks now, only took a few hours (copied the style I tried out in my last post because it was fun, it takes a while but I might stick with it for a while for my digital pieces)

got killed by someone named tehknoblate on fortnite today and the sheer joy I got at running into another fan in this day and age ALMOST overshadowed the fact that they absolutely spammed the griddy on my cooling corpse
that is exactly what technoblade would have wanted tbf
I was bored one day and drew dream on ajc
You know what I just realized about Philza and Techno? Since Phil has that whole Angel of Death thing while Techno has that Blood God stuff, they kind of sit on opposite ends of a spectrum when it comes to their title and what they represent.
Like, yeah, ‘Blood God’ is a title you don’t think of as a god of LIFE but that’s essentially what that means. The Blood God would be a god of the thing that gives you life. But he uses it as a title meaning ‘I shed blood’. Yknow, a violent name.
Philza being the ‘Angel of Death’ makes him quite like Thanatos (the god of peaceful death I believe) (there are a few death gods, I think). ‘Angel’ implies ‘saving’ or being the ‘deliverer’ of death like how angels are god’s messengers and servants. ‘Of death’ would therefore imply that he was basically a ‘reaper’ type of character. But a nice one.
Still, he’s killing you all the same. You’re just lucky it’s him.
So Philza’s title represents (blatantly) death while Techno’s represents life (in a sense). Yet one is peaceful in their deliverance of death (as his title implies) the other is brutal and is likely to leave a couple brains splattered on the wall.
Just fun to think about.
passerine in the end was fundamentally everything the dsmp was against in format and messaging and it makes sense an entitled fandom embraced it.
