!SPN S14 Spoilers!

I personally, thoroughly enjoyed tonight's episode. But what happened during the teaser for next week's episode, is what really grinds my gears.

"You're dead to me."

Those words were spoken, from Dean to Cas.

"You're dead to me."

Those words came from the man who has intensively mourned over this angel, several times, who in angels he has lost and regained his faith over, the angel they, no, he needs.

This angel, who when trying to remember himself he repeatedly reffered to as his, "best friend."

This angel who, "gave up an entire army for one guy," that one guy, being him, of course.

The angel who has literally went to hell and back for him.

The angel he wouldn't dare attempt to leave purgatory without.

The angel his subconscious would rather have him believe he failed, than accept that he didn't want to leave with him.

The angel he forces to binge watch old cowboy movies with him in their spare time, knowing damn well he has more than enough culture downloaded onto his system.

The writers would like to have us believe that this angel is now dead to him, presumably because of a mistake that Jack made.

But it doesn't matter why, because that doesn't make it right. I don't think I've ever heard Dean say something more out of character than this, and I refuse to believe that he would ever say, think, feel, or believe that.

So let's hope that this was simply out of context, or that Dean gets over it and admits that he didn't really mean it. Because he didn't. Because Cas is his angel. I just hope the writers can see that.

So I've been thinking a lot about how Supernatural, as far as I know, doesn't have a Nickelback reference.

Like, cause the whole joke is "we have a gif (or image) for everything"

WELL! I dunno if it COUNTS per se but I've sorta Bacon Number-ed this bitch and linked them through Alice In Chains because it bothers me lmfao.

Basically in Season Two, the episode where they break out of prison, they get into the Impala after escaping and Rooster plays. Rooster is from Alice in Chains and Alice in Chains has performed with Nickelback once upon a time.

Don't ruin this for me it's all I have.

300th episode

Am I the only one who thinks this may be some sort of AU episode?

With Zachariah back and John alive again, it might be a re-imagination of the Winchester’s story. One where they made a different choice at some point, meaning Castiel isn’t part of the gang...

If it is, I sure hope we still get to see John meet Cas. That has been on my wishlist for a while, despite John not being high on my “bring back” list.

I’m not a video game person but Ima make an analogy for Supernatural S14.

So, even though I love the show, I hope Season 14 is the final season. It’s been through a good run, but all shows need to end eventually. It doesn’t have an automatic new thing every few seasoms like Doctor Who. It’s not an educational show like Bill Nye or Mythbusters(fight me if you don’t think Mythbusters is educational). It’s had the same main characters since 2005. It’s based off of myths and religion, there’s a finite number of villains that can exist at the show. Like I said, I love this show to death, but I feel like it’s had a good run and should end. Every show has to end eventually.

Okay now for my analogy! I feel like, if S14 is the last season, Michael/Dean is going to be the final boss. Harder to defeat than Crowley or Lucifer or even Amara would have been. Typically, in videogames, the final boss is the most difficult and you have to work up to it in order to have the skills to defeat them. Even then, it’s hard and you’re most likely to lose at least one life.

I have a theory. The main character, in this case, Sam, always has a hell of a time fighting a final boss. I feel like he’s not going to survive the fight. My theory is as follows: Sam’s going to die, killed by Michael. Dean’s going to take back control and expell Michael and find a way to kill him with the help of Castiel and Jack. Now, since this is most likely the final season, Sam won’t be coming back.

Now this is just what I want and not the theory. I feel like Sam could not really survive without Dean. We’ve seen it. He hunted down Gabe to get Dean back. He knew Dean was alive in Purgatory, which allowed him to live a better life. Also, he was alone. If Cas was there, Sam might have freaked and tried to find a way to get Dean back. The inclusion of Cas is important. If Cas is there and Dean goes down, Sam will undoubtedly use Cas to try and get Dean back. Cas is the same. He’s closest with Dean. If Dean goes down, he won’t be able to handle it. We can all see the way Misha acts as Cas around Dean. The love is there. He couldn’t handle it at all. He’d hunt down his father and make Chuck bring Dean back personally. Dean, on the other hand, can survive without Sam. When he thought Sam was gone, he went and lived a life of his own. He can live without Sam.

Now here is where this ties into my theory. I feel like if Sam dies and Cas is there with Dean, they’re going to lean on each other and eventually admit feelings for each other, thus becoming ‘canon,’ at least in a way. Loss can cause people to change and find solace in others. I feel like Dean and Cas, without the pressure of not only the Hunt, but also Sam’s constant presence, will finally be able to realize their love for each other.
