I chose to make this meme because as I’ve mentioned before, I love humor that I can relate to (and I’m sure the rest of the class can as well). We pay a few hundred for a meal plan that we can’t dictate how we use it. There are so many rules for how we eat, when we eat, how much each swipe is worth, ect.

This instagram account uses imagery to highlight some of the main points from my podcast. I wanted to focus on consent largely because it is underrated when teaching students about rape in schools. The campaign yes means yes is very powerful because it denounces the old saying, “No means no,” because many things can mean no. The post silence does not equal yes was especially insightful because in so many cases the victim is blamed for not being vocal enough in their refusal. The basis of this instagram was to further my points made in my podcast visually.
