If someone had told me I was going to listen to a podcast this week involving a character recycling their pee for a week while hanging with dolphins filing paperwork and the other characters delivering costumes to hell from a Spirit Halloween, I would have said, "oh, that sounds like a Dungeons and Daddies episode."
Ok... past the summary. Onto general thoughts and specific moments. I think it's hilarious that the paladin of this group is the one doing recon. The class that's usually in heavy armor, getting disadvantage on stealth. I love the way they play with the rules. Makes me jealous. And the contrast with the rules is hilarious.
Anthony as the dolphin is wonderful. One of the best parts of the episode.
Props to Esther for giving us some jingle bells as Linc approaches the portal to hell.
"Don't worry we'll be on channel 'on'." Matt is on fire in this one. Plus all the interludes back to him drip -feeding pee into hell.
Linc is truly piss boy at this point. And now a piss sniper... of holy urine.
Will Campos has reminded us all this episode that Normal is a gross, stinky boy.
I just love the end of this episode. Everything about learning how Darryl died and just getting to be with that character again was all super fun.
And what a wild ending. I love that Scam can come in and just do whatever he wants. My only question is... is this current Scam? Or memory Scam? Current, I'm guessing. Since I don't think they actually ended up at the Titanic in the past. But it is unclear.
Excited for the next episode. Gimme more Wilson time!
