I'll talk about the town in detail later, since I'm still working on its center. I have literally 2-4 lots left to finish, after which I'll be able to show you the progress. In the meantime, here's a teaser screenshot.
Lately, I've been spending more time on music – making beats, took a small order, and overall there was a period when it came easily to me, so I decided not to let that inspiration slip away. At the same time, I thought it might be a good idea to start posting beats for sale on YouTube again. I put together some visuals using screenshots from The Sims and wanted to show you the result.
I've done this before. I have a lot of covers and screenshots from 2018–2020 saved up. I think I showed you some covers for my baile-funk releases back then.
Promoting beats via YouTube is a dead concept in my opinion, but I'm not planning to take it too seriously anyway. Unfortunately, I'm guilty of a strategic approach - I tend to first think through concepts, aesthetics, promotion and development strategies… and then burn out at that very stage. It's good that I can think this way, but I've never been able to turn this approach to my own benefit.
I've been thinking about this a lot over the past few days. I enjoy writing music and I don't mind sharing it, but I'm not ready to turn the promotion process into a job. I have a main job, a family, household chores, and I still need to make time for living. There's no energy left to work for the sake of algorithms and promotion. So I'll just do it for fun.
And since I've made a YouTube channel, maybe I'll finally work up the courage to stream my town-building process. But I still haven't decided to do it because I'm unsure about my spoken English level.
Below I'll leave links to my channel and Instagram account. I understand that no one here probably rappin, but if you support the channel with a like or a comment, I'd be grateful.
