So, after seeing Lian enact Wally’s rescue/revival in episode 25, I have a theory.

Jade didn’t leave because she didn’t want to be a mother or a wife. We got confirmation that Artemis was depressed for 2 years after Wally’s so-called death. At that time, she lived with Jade and Will. Artemis mentioned in this episode how she would do everything to see Wally again, even crazy, dangerous things. What if Jade knew this? What if Jade couldn’t see her sister hurt anymore and ran off to find a way to save him/bring him back? She couldn’t see Artemis doing dangerous things, so as a former criminal, she chose to do them. And what if she subtly told Lian this? Because Lian was very well aware a revival/save would make Auntie Mouse very happy...
