s6 seems cool + interesting + wanna try it out bc it seems to fill in the gaps runit had for me. if u rlly can't go 5 secs w/out tryna start an init war, the tribalism button is 4 u <3

what lightweight s6-based distro should i put on my t61 ?

not a speedrun but wanna get her up reasonably quick to get onto ripping out openrc and replacing w/ s6 (one day i might give both an assisted (via use of defaults, prebuilt binaries etc.) and a full manual run a go for funsies)

anyone got experience w/ obarun ? wanna try an s6-based distro bc it seems like a genuine featureful alternative to systemd (runit ily <3 but user services should be a default feature)

my alternatives are...gentoo (?), artix (tried w/ runit; seems to have issues arch or void never did), or uh..hacking it into another distro

just gotta wrap my head round s6-rc bundles and how i wanna structure things dependency-wise then i should be able 2 bring up a basic system.
