Calling it
Cahootsies in Love
Clarke and Bellamy aren’t the only couple that communicates non-verbally.
In the first gif, Emori looks directly at “Clarke” before questioning Murphy, who nods to her. She follows Murphy’s lead to calm everyone down, glances at “Clarke” again, then goes after Raven to deescalate what she knows is going to be a confrontation with Ryker.
Now, Memori isn’t usually into PDAs… so that sugary sweet exit line about stopping Raven from starting a war? It’s an act to show “Clarke” (whose outline has been watching in the foreground) that she’s going to play nice. And as for the kiss/little squeeze before she leaves? Emori is reassuring Murphy that she is picking up whatever he is putting down.
Bonus couple reactions:
Well played Murphy, well played
4 Primes down, 9 to go.
Owning it
S6xE2/S6xE6: I don’t need you anymore
“If we take this deal, we get everything we want. We get to live.”
When he says this, Murphy is actually referring to everything he wants - survival at all costs. Bellamy responds to him in kind, and speaks to everything he wants and can no longer have: “Not Clarke.”
Bellamy may no longer need Clarke, but he wants her, desperately.
I can GET wanting a new body
Ok, time for a sci-fi crack spec: Funny how Raven says this at exactly the same time she and the drawing of a Mech on the wall behind her came into focus.
Is this illustration the fantasy of a 12-year old boy or the blueprints of a 206-year old mechanic? Can this be how Abby will get Kane back without losing their humanity?
