What the hell does he mean that this was his cross to bear alone? However long Dean had left of this existence, Cas wasn’t bearing any crosses, as far as Dean was concerned. Let alone by himself. Because that was what they did, wasn’t it? They looked out for each other, fought for the other, shoulder to shoulder, always. That’s just how it was supposed to be. Why couldn’t Cas just get that? Why couldn’t Dean just say it out loud?
