Another year gone by! Fanexpo 2015 was AMAZING fun. I had a great time doing all these commissions and working in pen and markers all weekend. i work digitally 90% of the time, so it’s a real boost to get a chance to make cool art traditionally. It’s also great to get the instant gratification of a satisfied customer when they pick up their commissions :)
I hope I never take for granted being chosen to do a commission out of a sea of thousands of artists! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to everyone who got a print or a commission!

Fiddlesticks! I started this painting in oils and finished it off digitally. Working in oils feels amazing but I still can’t quite get what I want out of that medium the same way I can with digital, at least not as quickly. This was a lot of fun to do though and I can’t wait to do some more oil painting!!

Kill la Kill is one of the only animes I’ve watched in the last 10 years, and it was super worth it~ I enjoyed the animation, humour, and even the story haha.
I want to do some more stuff with the characters from the show, they’re a lot of fun to draw :p
His scanners hadn’t picked picked up anything unusual on his patrols, but Cheetor had come to know the deserts quite well since the crash. On the scalding dunes, hidden in the mirages, there was always more than meets the eye.

Beast Wars was one of the best shows on T.V. in Canada when I was a kid, and I’m hoping to tap into my inner 2nd grader for a rad set of images!
