"Oh please continue to be a normal day please!" Gyeo Ul chanted softly as she makes her way out of the staff dressing room in the cafe. Her day had started quite uneventfully and surprisingly she was happy about it. Back when she was just a normal college girl, Gyeo Ul would almost always whine about how boring her life was becoming. Even though she had some interesting encounters at both her jobs-- like the crazy drunkards acting stupid, or the snobby customers who complains about the littlest of things, it was safe to say that her life 'in the big city' wasn't as fun as she had hoped. Now that fate turned it a hundred and eighty degrees, she suddenly wanted her old boring life back. Mostly it was because the change wasn't to her liking. If she was turned into an idol superstar or found out her parents were alive and looking for her maybe she'd be happy. But no. It was something unfortunate and unwanted. Being well fed, Gyeo Ul had no problem maneuvering the small crowd of people that was filling the cafe. Everything was running smoothly up until someone ordered an espresso. She got the task of delivering the hot drink to the customer since she was the only one without anything in her hands. She happily obliged and took the tray with the coffee. She got to the table safely but apparently it was never too late to have an accident. As she was about to place the cup on the table, a rather rowdy group of high schoolers pushed and shoved their way inside making one of them bump into her. As a result, she accidentally poured the hot espresso on the unknowing customer. "Oh my goodness!! I'm so sorry!!" Gyeo Ul exclaimed mortified as she reached for some napkins and tried to wipe off the hot liquid. "I'm really really sorry! ....I'm so sorry..oh geez" she was so embarrassed that she thought all the blood she drank was now on her face. This wasn't what she wanted her normal day to go, but then again Gyeo Ul's usual normal day wouldn't be complete without a little clumsiness.

|| | Penny for Your Thoughts; Gyeo Ul & _______

It's at rare times like this that Gyeo Ul decides not to haul up in her apartment. Everything seems calm and her worries are stagnant, as if they too experience exhaustion. In occasions like this, Gyeo Ul loves to go out and just observe. She allows her feet to take her wherever they want to go and just surprise her with whatever she might discover. She takes advantage of the free pass to a normal night. Wherein she could just be her own self and not worry about the monster that lays asleep for the time being. She was at peace with herself as the priests would call it at the monastery. With peace comes a clear mind and keen sense of observation. Without worrying one could find wonder in the smalles and simplest of things. One can garner a new perspective, and a new point of view is something she desperately needs. Tonight she traversed through a familiar route; it was the way to her school. As she walked she just took in all the scene she saw. For example, she passed by a small convenient store and saw a young man in a suit. He was dragging in breath after breath of smoke from his cigarette with a stressed out expression. He obviously didn't have a great day. Suddenly a homeless person approached him and offered a still sealed pastry which she assumed was given to him in an act of alms giving. The young main raised an eyebrow at the unusual gesture. He was about to reject the beggar but then the old man insisted by placing the bread infront of the man with a warm smile. The young man's eyes widen I surprise but soon the formed into small crescents as he smiled widely back to the elder. He stood up and bowed in respect and asked the homeless man to sit with him. Soon they we're immersed in conversation filled with laughter. The scene she witnessed made Gyeo Ul feel warm. Indeed days are filled with little wonders if we only take the time to look and actually see. She thought it was the only treasure she'd find for the night but as she walked through the park and towards the small playground, she thought otherwise. There was a person perched on the swing set with its head hangin low. The person was pushing the swing on its own in a lazy manner. She knew it was none of her business but for some reason something inside her pushed her forward. Maybe she was about to uncover a new story to ponder over or a new friend. She reached the set and walked closer until she was only for steps from the stranger. She cleared her throat and announced her arrival "Penny for your thoughts?"

open ; danse macabre

Taehyung runs, sprints, mud and dirt clinging to his snow white sneakers as he passes building after building, the cold air burning his throat when he gasps for breath.

He's been born into a hunter family and hell, - he is a hunter's son, - but running away from vampires proves to be outright impossible unless you possess the legs of a damned cheetah or whatever.

The boy stops for a second, nearly keels over; and tries to catch his breath while his eyes sweep the street from left to right in search of his lovely, lovely persuaders with fangs.

"Goddamnit, …" he breathes out, "This is just peachy," 

...

It all started at the club he usually spins for, a familiar environment; except that Taehyung decided to sell his goods directly and blend with the crowd this time. Little did he know that he picked the wrong pack to mess around with ; a bunch of weirdos he haven't seen around the island before.

Taehyung figured they were out on a vacation or something, - the Jeju-do is a pretty common tourist place after all, - so he decided to seize the opportunity and offer up some blood for a higher price than usual.

The leader, (Taehyung guessed the man in charge) spoke with a heavy accent, and the rest of the group talked to each other in a tongue Taehyung did not recognise. He should've (oh, he should've…!) realised that something strange was going on the moment he took outside with the group, getting ready for transaction, - when one of the buff ones aimed a fist directly at his face.

The young hunter barely dodged ; almost knocking his head against the tile wall behind him during the attempt to block, - and nearly blacked out. Taehyung knew things will go to shit from there onwards, and he could literally do nothing but run at this point.

He throws whatever blood bags he's got on him to the angered pack and flees, - runs and runs, and keeps running until his bones ache and muscles burn.

Taehyung wheezes, and decides to slip into an empty alley for cover. He was sure he didn't shake them off just yet, but they were nowhere to be seen. There was exactly four of them, and there's no way he could take out four vampires by himself.

"I'm not dying here, right, …"

The boy swallows, and reaches underneath his leather jacket for his 357 magnum caliber revolver, one he haven't used in ages since his training days. Taehyung's fingers are trembling, but he's focused, - eyes trained on the empty street before him.

-- A dark figure jumps out and Taehyung shrieks, covers his mouth to keep from shouting, actually, and fires two shots in general direction of his attacker.

The gunshot resonates through the neighbourhood and surprises the vampire, which gives the young hunter the opportunity to turn on his heel and sprint into the alley, messily climbing the fence that separates death from life ; aware that his followers are approaching from behind.

Once he reaches the top, Taehyung sits back and turns around, the revolver ready in his hand; 

"YOU ASSHOLES!" 

 Spit.

"How much do you think that fucking blood cost me?! Get the hell out of this town before I call up the goddamn association and they burn your sorry asses on stakes!"

He fires few more shots at the feet of the four figures standing below him, the group probably in a slight shock now that Taehyung is just shouting at them like he's possessed or something. 

The boy jumps down, hissing in pain as his ankle takes all of his weight, - but he gets up anyway and starts running again, towards the exit and far, far from what just happened at the other side of the fence.

Exhaustion is starting to wear him down, and Taehyung's attention fails him as he suddenly bumps into something, - someone, - a dark figure at the end of the alley he was about to escape from.

"Shit-- … Who …?"

|| |Wash Thy Sins Away; Gye Ul & _____ (OPEN)

The soft ocean breeze blew across her face and for a moment she let it blow her away from reality. For reality had become so difficult to deal with and so burdensome. Her eyes close and to her surprise, clearing her mind didn't take too much effort. Finally she was calm. She breathed in the briny smell that was the salt water that made up the body of water before her and she found peace. It had been a night of unpleasantries accompanied with shame and guilt. She had killed once again for the sake of her feral desires and this time she was too hungry to formulate an educated choice. Instead of criminals, Gyeo Ul had taken the life of an innocent man. An innocent man who most probably had a family who he loves and loves him. An innocent man who most probably had dreams he has yet to reach for, and because of her ignorance she had taken all of this away from him. Suddenly her moment of peace was disturbed with such aggressiveness. She had expected this to happen though, she knew she didn't deserve this peace. She knew she was unworthy of solitude. She had accepted this for she knew she had sinned and should be punished for it. Yet, the stream of tears flowed freely from her eyes. She felt defeated and worthless. Why was it so hard for her to be herself? Why was it so easy for the monster to over power her? Without her knowing, she was already waist deep in the water. She opened her eyes in time to see the clear blue water be tainted with red from the blood on her hands. It was as if the mark of her sins were being washed away so effortlessly. An idea made it's way to her already crowded mind-- purification. Salt has always been considered as a tool for repelling demons and evil because of its purifying abilities. She had seen it in many television shows and movies and they all seem to be consistent. Even in the monastery it had been common knowledge as well. Therefore her spontaneous plan seemed to make sense. Seeing as she was in salt water, she might be able to chase away the demon that had made her it's home. Taking in a short breath, she submerged herself fully into the water. Not long she released the air from her lungs making her body sink deeper. Calmly, she let the soft waves carry her aimlessly. Her gaze was on the blue-grey sky that indicated dawn was breaking. She had no idea if her plan would work and suddenly she didn't care. The water was making its way through her lungs but she didn't feel any pain. Was it another benefit of being a vampire? Was she incapable of drowning? Again she couldn't care less. All she cared about was escaping. Escaping this new and terrible world she had awaken to. Escaping the sins she had committed. Escaping the guilt that was eating her soul. And most importantly, escaping the monster she was now becoming. Closing her eyes, she decided she didn't want to exist anymore "Father forgive me for I have sinned..."

|| | The Beginning; GYEO UL & _______ (OPEN)

     "It’s cold. So cold." she thought. She tries to open her eyes but droplets of water are hindering her to do so. "It’s raining" she thought once more. Her body starts to stir and soon she realizes that she’s lying on the wet pavement. "Where am I?..." she gathered the strength to sit up and soon her eyes open. "It’s so dark and it smells like trash" she squinted as she surveyed her surroundings. She’s in an alley. To be more specific, she’s at the alley behind the club she’s working at. Feeling too weak to stand Gyeo Ul crawled over to the back exit to try and protect herself from the cold. Her breathing was labored as a sign of fatigue. She shuts her eyes and buries her head on her knees to try and remember what she was doing before she woke up like this. She opened her eyes to inspect her state and realized that she was still wearing her uniform as a bartender.So she was working tonight. 

Small flashes ran through her mind like a video being fast forwarded. She remembered how packed the club was and how crazier it was getting than yesterday's event. She was hustling, working as a bartender and a server as well. She remembered being pushed and bumped around as she made her way through the partygoers. She remembered being hit on by a couple of guys and then she stopped. Her head snapped up as realization hits --- was she raped? the terrifying notion made her body pain more prominent. "Oh god no! Please no!"  she screamed silently as tears started streaming down her face. It took a couple of deep breaths before she worked up the courage to check herself more thoroughly. Her pants seem okay, no rips no indication that it was forcefully pulled off. She unzipped it and checked her underwear, it was also intact. If she was truly molested, wouldn't she feel a certain pain down there? 'cause right now she doesn't feel anything. Was it because she was drugged that she doesn't feel anything? She ran a hand through her wet locks in frustration as she got more and more confused. Not only does she felt exhausted to think up a better theory but the loud music from the club also doesn't help.

"Hold on, why does it feel like I'm inside the club?" she thought out loud. She was referring to how clearly she can hear the music amidst the rain and the thick wall between her and the bar. As she strain to hear more she suddenly found herself hearing certain hushed conversations as if she was only a few feet away. "What the hell" she muttered bewildered. She was so preoccupied by this that she didn't notice she didn't feel cold anymore, rather there was this burning sensation on her neck that seems to be traveling down her body through her veins. A gasped escaped her lips at the shock of how the pain was immensely building up. A hand flew up to the part of the neck that felt like it was lit on fire and she was surprised to feel two puncture wounds. "Are you kidding me?!" she muttered quite breathlessly. Could this be some sick joke those lunatics are playing on her? Is this what kids do nowadays? pretend to be some mythical creature and play prank on people for fun? It must be the drugs--- speaking of drugs, what did they inject her with? The pain just reached another level and soon enough Gyeo Ul found herself writhing on the floor in pain. Screaming and crying hysterically, asking anyone who could hear to help her.

As the pain became more unbearable, Gyeo Ul lost the will to fight it any longer and just give in to it. She shut her eyes and let the sensation take over. After a long while, it seems as if she awoke from a deep sleep. The pain was gone but her throat still felt as if it was burning. She was thirsty, so thirsty. She was about to stand up when the door flew open and three men stumbled out. They were drunk for sure. The rain had already stopped but Gyeo Ul was still drenched. It didn't take long for them to notice her presence and her state. "Looky here fellas! looks like our friend got caught in the rain" the bald guy said with a hint of amusement. The other two looked at her and soon they were hovering over her. "C'mon baby why don't we get you out of those wet clothes aye?" the fat man said  while he loomed over her "Yeah, we wouldn't want you to get sick now hon" the man with a beard added. As they were about to reach her, Gyeo Ul's vision went black. After what felt like only minutes she came to, only to be surprised at what she was looking at now.

The three men are on the floor with a couple of blood splatters scattered around. She was in shock. She looked around in panic and saw no one else in the vicinity. She tried to swallow the lump in her throat and as she does so she realized the burning sensation has died down a bit. She glanced down the men once more and was even more shocked to see puncture wounds on their necks. Her hands flew to her face as she grew more and more paranoid. She felt something warm and thick on the side of her mouth. She looked down at her hands and found blood.

"What the hell is going on!" she screamed in desperation. "Somebody! Please help me!" she cried out, hoping someone would find her and help her out of this predicament.

{' he sits on the fence as he watches the bustling crowd going to and fro between stalls and booths, it was his favorite time of the year, where parties and parades would be held in the summer, both humans and supernatual being stuffed in one place, making it seem like one big halloween party each time. yet this summer festival has surprisingly exceed all his expectations, the amount of people, from vampires to fallen angels, among humans and werewolves, there were secies of all types and kinds one just had to order, and that's exactly how heechul liked it. he just sat and observed enjoying every bit and second of it with his already fifth empty sweet apple stick dangling from his lips. his twisted grin fell quickly as someone came standing in front of his sight, not even driving his eyes up, he stared at a fabric of a shirt voicing out an annoyed tone '} excuse me dearest whoever you think you are, but you're blocking my view.

"Ei━!" A quick nudge to the side, Riza aims to erase the concerning look on her company's face. "That's one serious wish you got there," she teased, slightly looking down on the tiny scribbles written on the other's paper lantern after she gave a smug smile. As much as the mechanic wanted to peak and read, she chose to look up and amuse herself with the view of lanterns. Slowly, they rise up on the air one by one, filling the dark night sky with color.

After a few minutes of gawking, when Riza finally tore her eyes off the lovely view, she had focused back on her own paper lantern. It was still blank.. just like her thoughts. In slight distaste her nose wrinkled, because really, she can't really see the reason behind writing wishes on flying objects, plus she can't risk anyone to reading her personal thoughts just in case the lantern lands somewhere.

But of course━ she wouldn't say that out loud. She thought it was silly, but maybe it isn't that bad. At least it's good to be a little silly on events like this. But damn, from all the things she complained and hoped to be gone everyday it's hard to construct one. For one, she can't just wish her alarm to stop ringing during early mornings -and cold coffees are worse that the hot ones who burn her tongue every time.

"What did you wish for?" she finally gave up on her inner struggle and asked, ━seeking for some hints on the other's wish.
