So the other day I was discussing a fic I’m writing with a friend, asking what she thought the Sabbellesco Miracle Baby might be reading on this particular almost 3hr late night train ride from Venice to Milan. I told her I was thinking something possibly SciFi or SciFi adjacent and she threw out a couple of suggestions. I latched onto her suggestion of Vonnegut’s The Sirens of Titan and ANYWAY that’s how we ended up inflicting psychic damage on each other and why I’m currently reading my first Vonnegut 🤣
