The continent of Europe was truly well served during the late-1930s by companies like SABENA. For instance, in an accord with Air France, the “Nord Air Express” line flew from Paris by way of Brussels, Hamburg, Copenhagen to Scandinavia. Pretty trimotor design, but not quite like the S.73. The latter was SABENA’s workhorse on the European routes. Artist: M. Cross (1937).
