BREAKING NEWS: I’ve stopped using the screen before bedtime, it’s over and doesn’t send you off proper, never mind the following shit sleep. So, what better time to read? I’ve even read in the morning before getting up, I know, ridiculous. Current paper is ‘Sabiens’. Another good place to start could be the new Ravi Shankar biog by our good friend Oliver Craske. We’ve had a few coffees in London and Berlin over the last 3-4 years where he’s talked about his travels to secure interviews for the book, the discipline that goes into writing a book of this magnitude and also the difficulty in working to a deadline (2020). I was always left very impressed by his outlook and determination in getting the book done in time. So, congrats Ollie and well done, no easy feat mate, can’t wait to read it. ⚡️👍✌️😘

it  isn’t  often  you  saw  a  stranger  quite  like  him,  even  wondering  the  corridors  of  the  avengers  hq.  wanda  tries  not  to  stare;  she  knows  what  it’s  like  to  the  subject  of  it.  though  her  other - ness  was,  at  least  on  most  days,  hidden  inside.  but  she  can’t  help  but  notice  he  appears  lost   ------   though  perhaps  just  contemplative. 

❛      are  you...  all  right?      ❜      she  stops  by  his  side,  blinking  up  at  him  with  curious  abandon  despite  all  her  best  efforts.  he’s  lovely,  in  an  other - wordly  way.  even  if  that  other  world  is  the  ocean   ------   it’s  as  alien  as  any  outer  planet,  she’s  heard  it  said.
