and let me tell you about my fursonas.
Bluey, real name Seth Garrison, is my main character and the star of the Forcastia arc. He's my namesake and the smug little loser you can see in my icon. Bluey is adventurous, resourceful, and always willing to help people. He's an inventor capable of making some pretty cool gadgets of dubious usefulness (and safety, as they tend to be slapped together with electrical tape and exposed wiring). He lives in a town called Forester Square, and has a little workshop on the outskirts of town that doubles as an office for the Thunder and Fire Couriers, a not-quite-a-real-company that he founded with his friend Darkmoon.
Spencer Hawkins is a kangaroo and the star of the Demoscene arc. Spencer is a courier by day, but makes his real living as a freelance programmer, writing whatever software someone will pay him for. Spencer is an expert hacker, a smooth talker, and fast on his feet. He can be pretty naive, though, and never thinks about the consequences of his actions. He's addicted to energy drinks and spends most of his free time at a bakery owned by his girlfriend Lorraine. (Spencer's last name, Hawkins, is a reference to Trip Hawkins, who founded Electronic Arts.)
Sable is a fat gamer alligator and comes from a world called Sona. Sable isn't really canon, and doesn't have a set backstory or anything. Sable is pretty high-strung and easily embarrassed, especially about his weight (which is compounded by the fact that his favorite black sleeveless shirt doesn't really fit, so his white belly always shows). Sable loves to play video games and is a pretty bad procrastinator. He also has a hot snake girlfriend. Sable's personality is based on how I see myself, and due to my lack of confidence and general self-loathing, Sable inherited a lot of my bad points.
Soren is the newest, a blue Charizard. Nothing is really set about him yet. Originally he was named Shock, but I like the name Soren a lot and it sounds less forced. Soren is a strange Charizard in that he's an electric-type and not a fire-type. His tail crackles with lightning instead of burning with a flame. I'm thinking that Soren will basically be a total slacker, just coasting through life without a care in the world.
My 'sonas are meant to be connected, and as such they all share certain characteristics. For example, they're all blue and white, and wear black wristbands. Their real names all start with S (since my name starts with S). They all have lightning powers or at least an affinity or interest in electricity.
