Eiyu-o, King of Heroes. The title that left the Saber’s lips was familiar to him. For many millennia had he heard himself be called as such, and today was no different than that. Yet, that was a title that was usually reserved for his Archer self in terms of talking about the King of Heroes. Caster was the lesser-known side, the side that took up his responsibilities after returning from the Journey for Immortality and lead Uruk until his untimely, and unfortunate, death.

But he still couldn’t believe that he was being called the King of Heroes in this form. He could hear the gloating from his Archer self all the way over where he stood. It was strange, and the words were foreign to his ears. As if he’d never gotten used to the term. Perhaps if he was his Archer self then--

Nothing would get done.

“To your inquiry, I am. Mankind’s oldest hero, as the tales say about me. Why do you ask?”

She hadn’t seen anyone nearly this beautiful, nearly this enthralling, since she had first set eyes upon Edelgard. A woman with so much charisma, an aura of leadership that simply made her think.....this is someone I’d follow unto death. 

Shaking her head the mercenary watched the other speak, waiting for the lecture to end before she pushed herself up quietly and slipped into the back, where they had found her was beyond her but she was very happy they had. 

Rounding the corner the professor raised a single hand and let knuckles rap upon the door leading to the briefing rooms, opening the door and walking in after that single rap. “Lucina correct? I’m Byleth, the mercenary in charge of teaching the Black Eagles, I must say you are very.....impressive, I couldn’t take my eyes or ears off you while you spoke. You speak of those battles with such a familiarity and reverence....I hope my students one day see the humility that such wars can bring themselves.”

    “Lucina?” he calls out to her meekly, trying not to alert any of their sleeping allies, and in an attempt not to startle her. Inigo doesn’t want to ask for help-- he feels bad for doing it-- but it’s written all over his face. He had just returned to camp from a night on the town. A few moments before getting here, he noticed a certain something of his was missing.

    “I’m back. Were you planning on going to bed yet?” he approaches her, frowning and resisting the urge to feel for the earring no longer attached to his earlobe. He didn’t want to immediately ask for help. She’s a hard worker; Inigo was willing to bet that she worked harder than anyone else here. The last thing he wanted to do was deprive her of sleep she might require.
