Wren & Micah
wren--novak:
Miiiiicaaah. Stop ittt. You are probably the nicest person around here you big sweetheart.
You're mad as a hatter. I'm just a normal guy that does his job. You all go out of your way to make me smile.
Wren & Nathan

Is that Noah’s Throne? or is it Sebastian’s Throne?
Motherfucker, what do you take me for? An answer genie? You have to guess this shit.
Wren & Sutton
#there is my beautiful best friend.#how are you?
I'm doing great! How are you, Wren? It's been a long time since I've seen you in person.
Wren & Sutton
#how's my favorite lady?
Still pregnant, so that's pretty up in the air.
Today's been an alright day as far as anything disgusting goes, though. How are you?
Holdin' On To You, Holdin' On To Me || Day Nine || 4.23.14 || Micah & Wren
As soon as Micah was away from a lot of people he stitched what he could and wrapped the wound up in strips of shirt. It wasn't going to stop bleeding but he could buy time. Aubrianna was tired and with everyone busy preparing the last of their vehicles at the clinic he wasn't needed. He sat on the couch of his office with his daughter asleep on his chest, kissing her head or periodically smelling her hair. Eventually Wren checked in on him, she'd been doing that a lot and he was grateful for it. He needed to talk to her, everything was going to change from now on- not that anything could stay the same in this world. Still, he could only blame himself for making his daughter an orphan- again, and letting Aubrie and Joey die unprotected- Callum and Caleb were gone too now, everyone was leaving Aubrianna and he held his breath to stop from crying. He saw Wren's change of expression, she caught the look that he'd finally broken. He pointed to the chair and waved for her to come closer and have a seat, it was time to tell her that he was saying goodbye and to ask her an extremely unfair favor.
There wasn't a doubt in Micah's mind that had he stayed at home, had all the Cartwrights and Sinclairs would have been alive and fine at his place. He blamed himself and nothing was going to change that. His family brought out the best of him and without him, these people at Bravo sector, they saw the worst. The lives he'd saved in his years of practice were entirely undermined by his inability to save more when they needed him most. He wouldn't be seeing Johanna again, he wouldn't be hugging Aubrie. The man was sure that God didn't need to forgive him, that he wouldn't, and so he wouldn't ask for it. Micah just prayed that the special place in Hell for him would be just for him and that none of them would ever find themselves there.
------Time Jump To 8am PST || Leaving CC West ------
This was it, the place he'd give his daughter away. Not an alter, not on a sunny day, not when she was grown up and going to some amazing university. It was time to let go before he hurt her, before he could let her down like the others. He'd had his last day with Aubrianna, full of cuddling and laughing... and crying as soon as she fell asleep. He still couldn't believe it as he passed her to Wren, this was it, his last goodbye, his last kiss, the last time he'd see those little hands reaching out to grab him....Micah had held it together until he heard her say his name one last time, the last 'daddy'. The screaming baby had set off the zombies and everyone in the ambulance knew something was wrong, but Micah kept his eyes on his daughter as Wren nodded. She knew what he wanted, what he'd begged her to do and his lips mouthed the name: Jameson. As he closed the ambulance door kissing his hand and placing it to the glass, a silent prayer that she'd grow up and understand that he never really wanted to say goodbye, that what was left of his spirit died as the door latched.
Turning his back so he couldn't watch her leave, Micah adjusted his grip on Fraye's gun and the large knife in his other hand. Despite the pain in his legs, the blood that now filled his shoes from standing too long, he walked back into the clinic and killed every single one of them they could and for a time, until the next bad thing California had to offer, people could go and hide for a night or two, get supplies that were left behind, and look at the white board, where a bloody hand had held someone up long enough to write:
Brianna,
No one ever loved you more than us. We went on an adventure so you could have all of our strength, love, kindness, humor, charm, and smarts.
Love Always, - Daddy, Mommy, Aubrie, Caleb, Ezra, and Callum
