The mocking, nasty turn in his tone was DREADFUL for anyone. Enoch may not have invented the art of intimidation but he perfected it. The scolding voice taking on that of disappointing your boss and finding yourself demoted or worse, ‘unemployed’. An emotion that ATE away at a worker’s insides until there was nothing left but their own maddening Hell. A mantra repeating in their heads of ‘must I get up today to do work for the worst possible job?’

Habitually pinching the bridge of a small nose, the Director swiveled around to stare down the batter. Looking much less confident then he had the last few runs ago. The paladin never ceased his mission, never held any sort of apathy (or any emotion that Enoch knew of), and simply was not of any world. The old or the new. The batter was simply.. there.

I just wish I could do more. esp if it turns out they are going to just. let them keep it, no problem. right now I think it depends on what happens after the report and what they find when looking into the matter. I’m really, really hoping that they haven’t gotten all of their paperwork approved and that they’ll be penalized for this and the puppy can find a new home, bc if not idk how I’m gonna be able to live with that knowledge like. idk maybe they think it isn’t “””””enough””””” abuse to count as something serious, but if they’re already neglectful and hitting it now, you rly cannot expect them to stop as the puppy gets older.

Kent is by nature a very emotional person-- he happens to let his anger be the one that drives him, though, because anger is ‘masculine’. It is socially acceptable for him to be enraged. Because of this he doesn’t feel the need to consider what might be the basis behind it (as anger is, typically, a secondary emotion) or to seek help to manage his outbursts. He’s also easily annoyed, unfortunately for anyone who associates with him. Kent will snap at anyone at the drop of a hat.

☂ - sadness

quite obviously, pedri’s greatest sadness comes from the loss of everything he had worked upon, everything he had ever loved destroyed. his WIFE, his CHILD, his EMPIRE. i would love to delve more into any type of depressive episode(s) he went through after his death, or even just before, after realizing what wrathia’s plan would entail. his sadness most likely takes the form of quiet resentment, then leading into pure ANGER. his horrid temper can take hold of him in moments of weakness.
