It's taken years of practice to get to the place where this pose doesn't hyperextend my back. For years I'd collapse in my sacral lumbar area and although I'd hold the pose I'd be creating suffering in my body later, and usually have to get adjusted. So the #sacralchakra has been a place of deep healing for me this past 3 years since my dad passed. Especially this year. I was so able to #letthatshitgo and really accept the woman that I am without ask that baggage of old boyfriends, poor self image as a youth, poor choices as a teen and all that we carry. I can truly find freedom in my body, passion with my husband and so much more #sacredcreativity after this difficult grief work. I am truly happy being me!
