Bug you've activated my brain OH MY GOD the concept of Dream genuinely tweaking out bc George is gone...he can't look at him irl anymore..he can't touch him whenever he wants..Dream being confused why he feels like this because it's so normal for them now.. it's like before he got his visa again, especially when they start doing sleep calls. Dnf angst come to me, and bring dnf some realizations!!!!!

U GET ITTTTTT I NEED THE ANGST I NEED THE PAIN!!!! god I hope dream has spammed george with messages and george doesnt have the time to reply and only replies when dream is asleep in the american time zone so theres no back to back texting

If DNF had a prison scene.

I imagine these two just hugging, just sitting down and hugging. Knowing and understanding that the other is there and safe, just taking time to just feel the others heartbeat. Because they needed this moment to last, last longer than an hour or two but more than infinite time in that moment.

Even if they get uncomfortable, they switch position because the obsidian is rough and hard, and everything seemed so cold and dark with just the glow of lava. The clock ticking away, as it seemed to laugh humourlessly at their painful reminder that this time will end, that the illusion of keeping safe will be broken by the harshest reality.

So they talk, never the reality but the most stupid and useless topics, from everything, anything and nothing. They sometimes go silent, just to bask in the breath and heartbeat because their minds are clocking out for the moment.

And at moments, Dream falls asleep. Waking up suddenly and holding George tighter, fearing he'll miss his farewell. When George leaves, silent tears come from George as he wants to break the promise of not returning to Dream to himself. And he does, just to hold Dream again.
