really sucks that I can't go to any events my spouse plans / is involved with because they can't both run an event and be caregiver for me and i often need to leave things early.

maybe someday I will have friends here who are able to help, but still pretty far away from that so it just!! sucks!

like we could maybe probably find someone who was willing to drive me home early from events that are close by. but I need support during the events and people who are going want to be focused on the event, not me. so just major bummerville and tired of being surrounded by and hearing about cool events but being unable to go.

and even when we are able to go to stuff with spouse as caregiver, really sucks when I have to leave early and it means they have to too!!! thing i constantly feel bad about is how much their life gets smaller due to caregiving for me.

a lot of this would be fixed if I had other caregivers who could drive. but haven't been able to find another caregiver who can drive and takes covid precautions!

#one thing i do miss from before the move. i had a pretty robust community and lots of people who would help me go to stuff.#and all my caregivers drove.#sad face!#isaacfloofs talk #disability blogging
