SAD MAGIC - I Love Ghost Rock (single from forthcoming album, TBD) scrapped: June 6, 2016 (release date) Local Long Island rock band, Sad Magic, have released a new single they just recently recorded with local music supporter/engineer/producer, Joe Arias. It’s a little rough sounding but I like the genuine flavor to it and the lead guitar solo is where the groove really feels like it kicks in. Will be interesting to hear what the rest of their new material sounds like. Also, the title makes me think of that initial bit everyone used to refer to Little May: Ghost Folk. Maybe “Ghost” will be a new supplemental character identifier.

With a psych-garage-rock sound at the heart of their set, they came at us with an incredibly unique (and incredibly *loud*) sound, the likes of which we’ve yet to hear in our neck of the woods.
