Alternatively may be used for a vampire who is woeful, mourning, finds themself crying in sorrow often or holds a deep sadness or possibly a vampire who cries very easily.

May be a subset of Psychic/Energy Vampire

Lachrymose, stemming from the Latin "lacrima" meaning "a tear", means literally "someone who is tearful, prone to weeping, or sad". The word is used to convey deep melancholy or woe.

Just had a really sad idea for a vampire oc(it’s probably already been done like but let me cook!!!!) I was listening to a song called California dreamin(I came across a Dracula edit to it) and I was like omg imagine a nun who falls in love with another woman in the times where that was considered a sin and so when she’s turned into a vampire she sees it as retribution for her “sin” of falling in love with a woman, so even as a vampire she continues to follow the church despite the fact the iron of the cross burns into her ver flesh and the cross itself leaves her in a constant state of fear and confusion(my au) all while she deals with her blood thirst and the fact animals blood just isn’t as good as humans blood. all because she believes its gods will I might draw this might not idk but thought it was a cool but sad idea
