                      Silence. The face was blank as a hundred possible answer ran through his mind only to come to a counter question. ( What would a conman need a fake I.D. for? ) And surely even unanswered one might understand his need for several identities. The one Jeremiah had let the policeman take from him was issued to a man at home in the world Gerald Bridges, a completely different persona to who he was playing for the cop.  ❝  Well you see, I am Doctor Jemore DuPont, my name is quite well known in the medical fields I work in.  ❞  ( A lie but who was the cop to doubt him? )  ❝  I wouldn’t be able to do proper research anymore if anybody knew who I was.                  IT’S IMPOSSIBLE FOR BARRY TO TELL how long he’s been in this room for; he can only judge it by how much he’s written. it’s not enough, not enough --- i have to do this --- it may look like a lot, but he’s barely scratched the SURFACE of all the knowledge inside his head. he’s ignored the people who pass in and out like GHOSTS; quiet and unassuming. the marker is running dry - cry - the stars are DYING. but there’s a group of footsteps that finally catch barry’s attention, so he stops. they all look so relieved, but barry can’t understand why. who are these people?
