Reasons I love and ship Elriel
Elain and Azriel have this gentleness around each other that seriously makes my heart swell
He was one of the first people to know that Elain hadn’t “lost her mind”
Not only that but he was the one to help her understand being a seer
How perfect would they be. The shadow singer/spymaster and the seer. Come. On.
I really just love Azriel and think him and Elain would be so amazing
He’s all “shadows and darkness and ‘brutish’” but we all know that’s not really how he is. And Elain is all soft and he has this soft spot her her and ahhh I just love it.
IF ELAIN AND AZRIEL ARE TOGETHER THEN ALL THREE BAT BOYS WILL BE WITH ALL THREE ARCHERON SISTERS AND IF THEY ALL GET MARRIED THEY’LL ALL BE REAL BROTHERS.
I think it would be really cool to see Maas write about a mating bond that is rejected
When Elain first saw Azriel scars she called them beautiful. (Technically Feyre didn’t know if she was talking about the Siphons or the scars but either way. She didn’t balk at the scars and I always thought she was talking about the scars)
Azriel blushed because of Elain 🥺
I just don’t see much between Elain and Lucien and kinda think the only real connection they have is the mating bond and its already established that the mating bond doesn’t always get it “right”
When she was taken for camp in acowar Azriel was pretty much already trying to winnow to her the second he realized she was gone.
Azriel would love flowers Elain would definitely give him AND NORMALIZING BOY GETTING/GETTING EXCITED ABOUT GETTING FLOWERS IS IMPORTANT.

Azriel let Elain have truth teller during the war. He had never let anyone else wield that blade.
We all also know that Moriel won’t be a thing(tbh I never really shipped it anyway.)
