ugh he was commenting on things that one simply has to realize will never occur and be okay with, stating, “we realize we are never going to cure cancer or go to the moon or feel Jennifer Aniston’s tits ... and that’s okay”
i’m trying to slightly reorient my interpretation of it as in he’s undermining people who desire that to begin with because I really did want to/expect to get something genuinely useful from this book--I’ll keep reading and keep y’all posted
