This was amazing! You guys know that I’m a sucker for a horsey memoir, a love that I actually discovered through this authors other book Chosen by a Horse which I read (and loved) a few months ago. Richards writing is poignant and honest, with plenty of equestrian content to keep even grumpy ol me happy. Her relationship with her horses and her journey with them is so inspiring, and I was completely moved by her intense love of and devotion to her horses. Even at some of the lowest points in her life she still found calmness and fulfilment amongst her horses. Pick this up.

Side note: so my bookmark obsession has reached new heights! I genuinely found a bookmark that matches my mare and her foal...
