oh man, I am so bad at playing favorites with my ships, so…… this is just indicative of how I feel right now, and the numbers don’t actually indicate preference; I just used an ordered list because I used a random number generator to tell me how many ships I could list and I don’t trust myself to count properly

Blaine Anderson/Cooper Anderson is… kind of the only way that I could still enjoy Blaine at all by the time I stopped watching after s3. and I’m secretly still Glee trash, just a little bit.
Mercedes Jones/Santana, but also Mercedes/Rachel. I never got why Mercedes/Rachel wasn’t a more popular ship actually because by all rights? it should’ve been?? they were friends but also had that competitive edge with each other but always with that deep trust and love, they complemented each other so well, they sang lesbian argument duets at each other on screen and tried to be all “it’s just a diva-off,” and they would’ve been hella cute together, like? why do you not accept the love of Rachcedes into your heart, Glee fandom?(in retrospect, I’m pretty sure I know why and I’d really like it if I were wrong here but basically every fandom’s treatment of black girls and women says I’m probably not. and to disclaim, this is coming from a place of, “my Glee OTP of choice used to be all of the ladies/all the ladies, including Faberry and Pezberry, the more popular Rachel femslash ships” so I’m not trying to bash on the more popular ships here? like, my answer to, “girls kissing” is basically always, “yes plz where do I sign up”……but in retrospect, the way that the femslash contingent of the Glee fandom ignored Mercedes is both obvious and very disconcerting. :/)

Bones/Kirk/Spock/Uhura — there are a lot of poly ships out there where I look at them and go, “okay, just jumping right into poly here isn’t actually going to solve anything for anybody and it’s probably a bad idea, you fictional cuties need to sit down and negotiate this shit first” ………this is not one of those poly ships.like, the basis for every leg of this relationship is already established and solid as fuck — Bones/Uhura is the shakiest but even that isn’t completely out of left field (in either TOS or the reboot ‘verse) — and like? idk, why waste time arguing about Spones vs. Spirk vs. McKirk vs. Spuhura vs. and so on and so forth, when this is an example of a scenario in which, “and then poly happened and it was awesome; everybody wins” is actually really feasible?
