i still have 1/8th of the plot for new thing but i have the scene where Jakub and Trevor first meet Jakx really planned out in my head. basically Trevor and Jakub have found out that Sadie, Kuba's daughter, has been talking with Jakx through email for a while because shes really into his art and writing and while he keeps himself totally off the grid and anonymous for the most part, he let slip that he works at a coffee shop and Sadie worked out which one. anyway Kuba and Trevor think Sadie might have gone to see Jakx, because shes obsessed with him and she ran away and etc anyway i can see this scene where Trevor and Kuba walk into this coffee shop and its called like, KOFFEE PUNKS or something and is fake grunge and everyone in there is some kind of old emo or shitty punk kid and Kuba is probably still in his postman uniform from work so they look pretty out of place and Trevor says to someone working there "we're looking for Jack X? the artist?" (pronouncing it wrong its just pronounced Jacks) and everyone immediately gets like, incredibly hostile because Jakx is constantly and always on super high alert for people looking out for him (because he makes a career out of stealing shit and fighting people and writing zines about murdering racists and also because hes naturally super paranoid) and all of a sudden Trevor and Kuba are getting fucking cross-examined by the baristas in a crappy independent coffee shop "Jack X? Jack X? i don't know a Jack X." "so you're looking for Jack X but you don't know him well enough to immediately recognise him. very interesting. id says Jack X is hard to miss, wouldnt you?" "dont know, never met Jack X." and one of the people in this conversation has to be Jakx, because thats funnier, but Kuba and Trevor are in this fucking web of circular logic trying to figure out the truth all while Jakx is sliding towards the back exit as slyly as possible and they dont put the pieces together until they see him sprinting out anyway then they have to catch him and convince him they're not gonna kill him and theyre not government (difficult because Jakub is a postman so is kind of government in that sense)
