don't you think it's a bit hypocritical to call someone racist for calling out a black person for being anti vax while saying everyone who isn't black can't/shouldn't interact with something lol? the original anon wasn't even "racist" as you called them for questioning you for being bigoted, anyone can call out anyone for being anti vax regardless of race. it's not "being in black people's business" it's just calling out someone for being anti-vax, and calling YOU out for being a hypocrite. you can't claim to be woke while actively trying to bar people of a certain race from doing something for no reason, that's not how it works. I'm not looking to argue with you, and I would like to have a civil conversation about it as would many others who are disappointed with you for this, if you would like to. your POV on this is wrong and you're calling someone racist for no reason. not everything is about race, so don't make it.

you are all so incredibly ignorant of the history of forced sterilisation and medical experimentation on black ppl in the west and in certain parts of africa which have left many older black ppl, including my own relatives, traumatised and rightfully wary of wide campaigns of vaccination and other medical procedures developed in the west and enforced on black ppl, among others. i’m not saying the vaccine doesn’t work—i have been fully vaccinated for a while and i completely support the vaccination. but black ppl have our own history and our own fears that are also completely fucking justified and deserve better treatment, not clowning and thinly veined racism and aggression from nonblacks on the internet who make no effort to actually view us as humans. especially when it’s black women, the ppl y’all are constantly waiting to catch in a compromising position to berate, even more so when they’re public figures.

so yes, it IS a matter of race when it’s a topic that only involves black ppl, a topic enclosed to OUR community, and nonblacks feeling entitled and aggressive in reaction to us not letting you in when you, as usual, make no effort to understand or educate yourself on our history then demand access and an opinion on it 😐 now name the “many others who are disappointed in me” for uhhh being black and not letting y’all talk down to me and walk over me on anon for protecting my own ppl’s struggles.

I'm half black (my father is black and my mother is white) and I have been educated on the struggles of the black community. I know I cannot fully speak on the struggles of black people in the world since I am not fully black, but i still don't feel it's fair for you to criticize people and call them racist for calling out Letitia for being anti-vaxx. From what i can see, the post you reblogged about Wright not being for vaccination had nothing to do with fears of sterilization from the American government, and i googled it again to make sure. In her video that she even announced she was against vaccinations because of black hole conspiracies (like many other people who share theories about other vaccines, not just the covid one), which had transphobic undertones in it as well (you can watch the video on reddit and/or youtube.) People aren't criticizing her for fearing getting the vaccine because of her own personal beliefs, but instead for making outright public claims trying to advise against something that was made to help eliminate the spread of a dangerous disease. That in itself is not something to be condoned ESPECIALLY because she is a celebrity who has a large audience, and anybody has the right to make a comment on it and criticize her for it without being called racist for it. I truly don't believe that the first anon, nor anyone else, was criticizing her because she's black or because she has concerns based on legitimate fear. It's simply that she posted something that is trying to get people from not getting the COVID vaccine because of conspiracy theories, nothing less and nothing more.

i am AGAIN saying that it’s not a nonblack’s business to criticise ANY black person for having fears of the vaccine or of any enforced medical procedure bc of the history of eugenics black ppl have suffered through. point blank period. it is not a nonblack’s place no matter what. a nonblack person will never understand the generational trauma and the direct trauma related to antiblack eugenics and therefore have no space in the discussion of black ppl’s trepidation towards the vaccine AS A WHOLE. not by a case by case basis. AS A WHOLE. we all have our own relationship with the medical community based on past and current systemic antiblackness and you do not get to decide when an actual black person’s relationship is worthy of being taken in consideration and when it’s not. you do not get to pick and choose. end of discussion. don’t send me another ask i am not talking abt this anymore. i and many others have explained this extensively and if you still don’t understand or don’t want to understand, then i’m not wasting my time educating you. hire a tutor. i am so tired of constantly being The Black Professor online.
