Orchidaceae Host Club
Blame Mactan. This started out as a "who fulfills what type" thing, because "wow, Mactan and Saeper being pale is really endearing, even if they are horrible people. It's like another couple..." And then I asked myself: but how would this actually go down? Below, please find the rambly explanation of the plot for Orchidaceae Host Club. There is enough here for a show.
"I'll tell you sir. Come now, sit down, get comfortable. Smoke dis joint. This shit's going to be a trip." -Kate Beaton
It could end with The Empire Approved Ending of Mactan with a freezer full of meat, but fuck that noise. This is my fanfiction of the OCs of my friends' characters. So, credit due for characters owned by:
Bombshellparts: Saeper Smilon, Emorii Vauhne, Fosetr Bareid, Dallan Tiresi, Chanan Akanan, Kelpie Culsha, Cooper Neztet,

I.
It starts with Mactan trying to track down Emorii. He's looking for specific drugs, and Emorii might be the guy who can help find them. But before he finds Emorii, he stumbles across a Host Club, and thinks "sure, why not. This might be fun." Saeper agrees because that's how their relationship goes. Once Mactan finally tracks down Emorii, he realizes that he could be very useful in this endeavor. While Emorii usually doesn't give a fuck about numbers, he is actually very good at them. He sees this as a possible means to expand his clientele, and is probably under the influence when he agrees to be a host.
Fosetr is in his "whore around because I've hit rock bottom, because my moirail won't sleep with me, because he has a matesprit" stage ((canon timelines probably ignored for the duration of this story)), and "you can sleep with your guests" sounds a-okay with him.
Mactan discovers Sieben, and turns on the charm and silvertongue, promising protection, and an ear grafting. Mactan can be very convincing. He is also a horrible person. More on that later.
Flinik stumbles across the club himself. While on a hunt for anti-anxiety meds, he gets pointed to the club. Emorii, after all, deals from there, and it is certainly the kind of place to "relax" in. Mactan realizes Flinik possesses low levels of empathy (hence is The Natural type), and is quite easy to manipulate. He does, in fact, have Emorii supply him with anxiety meds, and then some, to keep him there. The abundance of Good Troll, Bad Troll Mactan and Saeper push on him, with an excess of mind powers, helps. Flinik shortly loses his concept of time after that.
II.
Meanwhile, Dallan senses a disturbance in the force. His auspistice has gone missing, and his moirail Fiella is concerned about that. What visions he sees about Fosetr are not comforting. His friend, Chanan, is showing more scars that usual from his even-less mentally-stable-sans-her-moirail matesprit. But Fosetr seems to be with Flinik, so that's something? He also starts to pick up on visions of other things. Other limebloods, and a handful of indigos. Now if only he could find a pen to write it all down.
Kelpie receives an overtly aggressive message from Gaelan, very accusatory. Has she seen Fosetr? He's been missing for something like a month. She's fucking him again, isn't she??? She doesn't respond, but gives it another thought, and asks her boyfriend, Cirrin, to look into it. He's good at digging up information, and while he doesn't relish work, he is a great boyfriend.
Cooper has escaped, again, and is searching for Sieben. He can't help shaking the feeling that someone is watching him, even more than usual. His paranoia proves positive when Kelpie nabs him, going on Cirrin's intel. They know there's a limeblood at the club, just not where it is yet. And how many limebloods can there even be, right? Cirrin informs her that this is the wrong limeblood. Cooper figures out the motive of these two, that Sieben is the limeblood they are looking for, and begrudgingly offers to help. With Cooper's powers, Cirrin connects the rest of dots, and forms a plan.
Fiella comes to visit Dallan to discover a lot of paper EVERYWHERE. Her moirail appears visibly shaken by his visions. He asks her if she can message Masari, because he thinks he knows where Fosetr and Flinik are. Upon learning what's happened to Flinik, Masari goes into a rage, and sets out to find him and kill some fuckers. Fiella, realizing what Masari's going to do, tries to cut her off.
III.
Emorii regrets joining Mactan's company once his clients start disappearing, but doesn't leave for fear of what will happen to himself. Fosetr tries to leave, only to have Mactan inform him that the reason he feels better after breakfast, is that that is when he slips him some antidote, and wouldn't it be awful if he didn't get some daily? Does he want to find out? He doesn't. Sieben realized what was going on the soonest, and tried to help Flinik of all people get out, but he wouldn't listen to any hints he was dropping on that first encounter. Even now, Sieben makes jabs at Flinik, telling him to just fucking run, but Flinik's so far gone he doesn't get it, and would appreciate it if Sieben would stop being such a jerk all the time, Mactan's totally cool, and he hasn't had a panic attack in...days? How long has it been? How long has he even been here?
Enter Masari. Clients flee. Saeper doesn't realize she's higher on the spectrum than Mactan, and a fight ensues. Fiella joins shortly thereafter, and tries to get Fosetr to leave while the violence his distracting his "employers," and he says he can't, that Mactan's been poisoning him, he can't leave or he'll die. Fiella rolls her eyes, tells him to stay out of the fight, and joins Masari. It is an awesome fight, and any description I'd give it in ramble would not do it justice. Just when things are starting to get heated up, there's a crack of glass, and BOOM HEADSHOT. Mactan goes down. Kelpie and Cooper were on the next roof over, and with Kelpie's and Cooper's skills combined, the shot was fucking cake. Saeper, realizing this, turns off his Hyper Intimidation long enough for Fiella and Masari to finish him off. The room is painted purple.
Emorii sneaks out the second he sees Mactan go down. He relocates to a different city and is much more careful about who he hangs out with...for a while. He is still Emorii, after all.
Kelpie and Cooper enter the scene. Fosetr's panicking over Mactan's corpse, and Kelpie and Fiella have to drag him away. Cooper and Sieben have a heartwarming reunion. Cooper wants to leave really quickly, but Sieben is still concerned about Flinik, who has been hiding in a corner this whole time, having a panic attack. Masari sees him, and slowly stumbles over to him, still in Rage Mode, she hugs him, and apologizes for not getting to him sooner. He hugs her back. There is not a dry eye in the audience. They are both terribly broken by this whole business, but are going to be okay.
IV.
Sieben and Cooper follow Flinik home, since they have no where else to go. ((Sieben has actually been holding a black torch for Flinik for a while, but won't admit to that. This is a story all in it's own, and is Black Romance at its cutest.)) They eventually meet Dallan. Holy shit, look at all these limebloods. Dallan was, in fact, having visions about Sieben and Cooper because they are going to become the best of palhanchos. With Cooper's and Dallan's powers combined, the three continue the rest of their lives as not slaves.
Flinik decides to stay off anti anxiety meds indefinitely, and is very happy that Masari powers aid in his detoxing from them and whatever else Mactan was giving him. He later meets Techul, which is another happy thing that happens to him.
Cirrin informs Fosetr (with aid from SCIENCE) that he was not being poisoned, but becoming an addict, and "breakfast" was more drugs. His detoxing is significantly more painful than Flinik's. Masari asks him if he wants any help with that, and he says no. He feels like an idiot for getting involved in all of this, and just wants to see Gaelan again. Fosetr apologizes to his moirail for being an asshole, and has since learned how important consent is, and how bad coercion. Gaelan is just very happy he is okay, and does the bulk of nursing Fosetr back to health. After he recovers, Fosetr encounters Kleona, which is another happy thing.
Mactan and Saeper stay dead, and the world is better for it.
THE END
