Planning on using a taxi this holiday season? Here is a taxi safety checklist. 1) Avoid traveling alone. When possible, travel in groups. 2) If the driver is irresponsible, get out at the first safe opportunity. If you feel you are at risk, speak up! 3) It's safer to order a taxi but if you must hail a taxi, spot one from a well known or reliable company. 4) Before getting in to the taxi, make sure the driver agrees to take you to your destination. 5) When you get into the taxi, note the company name, code number displayed, drivers name, ID, and photograph if possible. YES! The quarters over, you defeated that test, let's celebrate! A few students might choose to celebrate with some drinks, so here are some tips. Designate before you celebrate, have a designated driver who commits to not having anything to drink the entire evening. Never leave drinks or friends unattended. And alternate between alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages (like water.) Remember, not everyone chooses to drink and their decision should be respected. Have fun and be safe!
