Feysand - Hugging headcanon
(I am doing two of these together since they are both for feysand)
Hugging headcanon: I think that these two are really similar in the hug department - hugs are very nice, but in certain circumstances. Feyre definitely appreciates being wrapped in Rhys’s arms after having a nightmare, the way that he will cocoon his wings around them so that there seems to be nothing else in the world but the two of them. But this is not something that she needs regularly, or will just want on a whim, but Rhys always knows when to approach and when not to. Rhys is pretty similar, especially in public. If they are around people they aren’t close with, they might just have a quick squish, but nothing lingering. It’s really not becoming a High Lord. However, around their friends they will be a bit more relaxed and might lean against one another, or Feyre might squish into a too-small chair with Rhys and he’ll have to keep his arms around her so she doesn’t slide right out. I mean, other chairs exist, but who needs them?
Bathing/showering headcanon: Rhys likes to watch Feyre bathe. I dunno why this is a thing, but like... I think it’s because it’s very relaxing for her, it’s one of the few moments of the day where they get to be alone and intimate but without necessarily sexual overtones. I mean of course it can go there. But for Rhys it’s like... he knows his mate is happy and healthy and being cared for and there is no one else around. This is one of their favorite things because they have time and space to tell each other everything and get rid of stress and just be together, without all of the noise and mess of their lives getting in the way. Rhys especially appreciates the way her skin smells and feels afterwards, and maybe, perhaps, he can’t help himself from exploring every inch of her like this. This will occasionally go the other way around, with her taking care of him. They are both eternally trying to get the other to just take a break, and so this is the perfect opportunity.
