Since I got back home in March, my skin started getting all problematic, pimply & shit so I did 20 days of a resurfacing/micropeeling regimen. While it got me all pimple free, glowy & not greasy, it left me with tight feeling skin, dry patches, lighter & hella dehydrated skin. I really wanted to love it, like errone else, but it just didn't work for me. 😔 Enter @sageandtera, it has HG status in my skincare kit. Before leaving for Cape Town in December the I bought the Aftermask mist & Tala serum which legit kept my skin from getting crusty in the windy(sometimes), dry, hot summer climate. Impressive AF, since my last time there I was crazy flakey. So I figured since my skin was fucky from the last regimen, I wanted to get the foam wash. However, at the time there was a teaser for the complexion oil so I waited for it to be released. I just use these two & a cheapy crystal roller & my skin instantly felt better than it has in weeks. My skin is plump, not tight, hydrated & my dry patches went down significantly. The foam wash is the non-snail one. It smells sweet but in a fresh way, somewhat similar to the scent of the Tala serum. I generally use 2 pumps and massage it on with my hands for 1 minute in the morning and I double cleanse at night so I wet my face and rub in some sunflower oil then massage in the foam wash with a konjac sponge for 1 minute. The suds kinda go down around the 20 second mark but I don't feel the need to top up with more. The complexion oil smells like a delicious cross between Absinthe & bubblegum. The texture is thin &, surprisingly, it dries matte. It doesn't get greasy looking even when I sweat. After cleansing I leave my face a little damp & I use about 4 drops of the oil. I start by tapping it in with my fingers then massage it in with the cold crystal roller's spiky end & then with the smooth end both in the morning & at night.
