I can see Nao as the one that like, helps their kids with the homework and teaches them all kinds of cool stuff and buys them a whole crapload of shit all the time. And then Sho is just like the one that keeps them from being spoiled and he's the one that demands they kiss him on the cheek before going off to school.

Yoshi's childhood was extremely corrupted. He grew up surrounded by violence, and was pretty much raised to take whatever he wanted by force. His parents weren't a major influence, since he rarely saw his father or mother side from occasional encounters on Holidays or large meetings.
He didn't have many friends, with his family reputation and general appearance, so he grew up on the more lonely side, which only added to him becoming violent and extremely aggressive. He got into fights from elementary all the way into his final year of high school, often even missing classes just to deal with rival gangs.
The aggressive behavior was almost instinct to him--most working under his father even pointing out how much he was becoming like the older man, which was a key piece which led up to him changing his behavior and overall appearance.
