I feel like opposite signs actually have a lot of dynamic with each other, and opportunity to be be whole/balance each other at the same time.
Dynamics between each sets of opposite signs are really interesting, because they’re all different from one another (whether they clash so much or co-operate, blend or just can’t stand each other’s faces) yet the fundamental similarities join them together. (Some are more ‘clashing’ with each other while others are more ‘similar’ to one another– which is so interesting to see!)
Gemini and Sagittarius in particular might mellow each other out a bit, to other people/externally they still seem vibrant in their own selves. But when they interact with each other they’re communicating and goes ‘oh this isn’t so bad’ because they were both expecting the Worst Possible Interaction but it’s not!
The only thing is, Gemini might feel like they’re compromising themselves (their ‘true’ self) a lot of the time to engage with Sagittarius like this, while Sagittarius might feel like they’re in a stagnant state because they’re being ‘held down’ by Gemini (compromised autonomy). So a lot of the time, they’re itching to get away from each other to do their own thing, but at the same time it’s not like they hate each other so it’s kind of a forced politeness towards each other sometimes.
Having opposite signs might not be a bad thing in general, but within the luminaries the ego/emotional depth the person faces is emphasized a lot in astrology. This is because the person might feel uncomfortable with it, or feel the effect of the ‘shared problems’ each signs have more strongly.
Again, it’s not a bad thing, it just means the perception of the person of themselves (in particular their expectations of themselves) and how others view them/who they are as a whole may be different at times. They’re a dynamic person, but this dynamic can feel easily disguised or surprising for others meeting them sometimes (if it wasn’t manifesting in an obvious way before)
Part of Gemini/Sagittarius in the luminaries is that the person is communicative, but there’s a depth to them that their opposite sign brings. While the person may want only ‘this’ much, their inner restlessness/desire from the opposite sign (Sagittarius Moon) might be urging them on to achieve more.
So it becomes a question of control, do they achieve as much as they can control/know they can. Or do they achieve more to fulfill their desire?
I leave the question up to you, thanks for asking!!💕
hi~ ^^ can you please help me look at my north node in sagi in 7th? Im not sure how to interpret it At All!... it's also the spine of a kite pattern... I always find sagittarius placements difficult to interpret, im sorry! only if you can help, i mean no bother! best wishes!
Hey there! 💕 Thanks for dropping by I hope you’re having a good day/night!! 💕I’ll write up what I know I hope it can help you! 💕
[Below Cut: Sagittarius/Gemini NN (1H/7H) + Kite Aspect Pattern]
Let’s split it into parts so it’s easier to understand, first let’s focus on the NN.
NN is the soul purpose, the karmic responses and balancing system. Like your immune system to disease, it has to constantly fight in order to not fail the entire body of systems. With it being the focus, it’s like we’re not usually so aware of it working in our body/everyday life but we’re aware that it has an influence on how we’re healthy/not dying right now and might need vaccination/checks up occasionally.
Sagittarius in a kite indicates that the majority of the aspects being made are masculine in nature and since it’s in the spine, it’s opposing the major grand-trine being made in your chart. This is a good thing because Grand-trines (like the name indicates) can be harder to manifest so focally, and having your soul purpose/karmic balance/immune system at an opposition to a grand-trine indicates a need to really put your eyes on the prize and really work for it to come through (which fulfills the NN’s purpose as well).
It’s good but also hard, because this means you probably have Gemini in your 1st with Sagittarius being in 7th. As does anything in the 1st, seeing past the self/what others/yourself know of the self is hard in order to manifest the 7th house purpose.
Think of this as an exercise. In order to see past the self (the goods mostly, the things you get complimented on a lot) you have to kind of see it as a self-sacrifice in order to manifest the Sagittarius NN in the opposite house. See past the ego, go through it’s loses, in order to gain the lesson your 7th House and Sag NN has for you and gain things you don’t really think you’re capable/ready to experience.
Sagittarius NN (and Gemini NN/SN) are mutables and they often find themselves in a never-ending pursuit of a process. It’s kind of? adrenaline rushing in a way but not in the good/safety kind you get on roller coasters. There’s no ending to this process and only through struggling to externalize/manifest everything that it seeks to find it’s inner purpose at all.
These might sound negative but it’s actually pretty positive! It’s just hard to do. Think of Sag NN 7H being at the spine of the kite as like, your ambition/desire/goal. Like a star you’re chasing. And you yourself as the 1st House Gemini.
Kite aspect could’ve had any other planet in the spine position but it’s the NN. This indicate the highest spirituality growth and individual purpose/growth period for the person. If you focus on one thing, you get a bargain of 2 birds 1 stone result at the end.
Let’s focus more on Sag NN in 7H, besides the ‘seeing past yourself’ kind of deal Sag NN indicates a discomfort within the self on how they think/behave towards things (Gemini SN). Wanting to prolong, transform or ‘apply’ certain things differently from how they normally do. Or flexibility in terms of tones, ranges or confrontational issues that Gemini ego stops from pursuing (safe zone- Gemini SN/1st House)
Sagittarius NN in 7H provides an opportunity to take Gemini’s interest further and make it a reality. Since you said you find it hard to think of Sagittarius/understand it completely, don’t think about it by itself but understand your Gemini first and then think of them as a pair.
There’s a reason Gemini’s the twin and Sagittarius is it’s sister signs. These two works together like Mercury - Jupiter. By understanding your Gemini placements (catch yourself when you go ‘I want to do this’) Sagittarius is like the trying to get the ‘want’ to 'flow’ better; like water flowing down a river.
I know it sounds abstract, but it makes sense. There shouldn’t be a push between Gemini-Sagittarius naturally, only a want/desire and the ‘oh’ element of watching things unravel/letting things unfold like water flowing and not being so panicky about stopping it.
The lesson/thing Sagittarius-Gemini is trying to do is to let the person know that it’s ok to be a certain thing or desire a certain thing without having to struggle so much against it. The struggle part is instinctual, with Sagittarius/Gemini both you have to catch yourself when you instinctively ‘dodge’ or do things in ways you’ll end up going ‘what if i took a different path that time?’
Take the time to comb through your Gemini/Sagittarius and set up a ‘automatic’ system (vaccination/annual checkups) for yourself when you catch yourself doing certain things. Correct them as you go but don’t blame yourself for it, like ‘ok next time, I will do that instead. And this is my sound solution why I’m doing it.’ Don’t let opportunities to experiment/experience work it’s way past you without doing anything about it.
which signs (and placements) would fit a sagittarius venus the most, romantically?
Hey there! 💕Thank you for sending in the ask!! 💕 I’d recommend looking at the rest of your chart for optimal estimate on compatible signs/attractions, a lot of the time most Sagittarius Venus don’t tend to confine by the typical rule.
So what factors into your chart can sometimes be atypical to what the general logic is in compatibility. They’re also influenced differently by the house that it’s in, so I’d also recommend looking at house rulers/signs of what’s being affected as well 💕
This is in regards to romantic compatibility. Again, any sign/placement can be compatible (romantically) to Sagittarius Venus if both parties work on collaborating together. So please don’t think that having no aspect or difficult aspects means there’s ‘no compatibility’ – relationships are all different, what it’s pointing out here is how to make it work (and it can seriously be fulfilling to work on these difficult aspects as well).
But if you’re interested in Aspects Between the Signs (in the context of Sagittarius):
Conjunct: Sagittarius
Trines: Leo | Aries
Sextile: Aquarius | Libra
Square: Virgo | Pisces
Opposite: Gemini
No aspects to: Taurus | Cancer | Scorpio* | Capricorn*
*If you want to look at semi-sextile, there may be aspects to Scorpio and Capricorn (next sign over) but that’s depending on the degree that its in and whether or not you look at these aspects/just the main ones.
Specific romantic placements for signs/asks are challenging but fun to answer, I really appreciate them so thanks again for sending one in! 💕 It’s shines light on how your chart is really personalized to you, so therefore no signs/placements can be applied all across the board to every Sagittarius Venus. They may share the same aspects (Square, Opposition, etc. to a certain sign) but what they’re looking for in a relationship is always different.
How you yourself is using your Sagittarius Venus (in your chart) matters just as much as to what the other person is doing to theirs (collaboration). That’s why I caution you to please use your own discretion/direction 💕 And I hope this helps you a little! 💕
can you describe Sagittarius moon? i feel like this makes me so erratic and it doesn’t help that my sun is in Aquarius too :-( (the only thing that makes me like this placement is namjoon 🙈)
Hey there! 💕 I hope I can help!💕 To be honest, I don’t know a lot of Sagittarius Moon (irl) so I can’t give a completely accurate answer for this– I’m going to do Sagittarius in general, and try to relate some of the experiences to Moon in Sagittarius if that’s ok?
Hopefully, this will give you a wider scope and understanding of how to love/appreciate/cope with your Sagittarius placement yourself. Some of the description might differ from reality of the Sagittarius Moon experiences, so feel free to let me know what helps. I hope this is ok with you 💕
[Below Cut: Sagittarius (General + Moon)]
Wants to be as direct as possible, because being direct means there’s less chance of being insincere– and getting their point across is important to them
Can tend to accentuate a lot of stuff, very gesticulate/expressive, but most of it is about showing they care, that they’re in the presence and that they’re listening/in-taking information actively not passively– that matters to them (social etiquette).
With Sagittarius there’s a lot of honesty, but it’s for themselves as much as it is for others. (their self-expression, understanding, opinions)
Want to be resourceful to other people because they like the act of facilitating a service (not serving people, but facilitating that change for people to take with their own choices) Recommending something to someone else to help with their growth.
They’re enthusiastic when other people have opinions on something, because they like to share theirs and communicate/express themselves that way as well (after they’ve deemed the person isn’t close-minded about it/have digested said information well themselves)
They’re not flighty, they’re one of few people who understands/realize that people need to change, shift their views and grow to be a better version of themselves.
There’s a lot of focus on integrity here, sharing a piece of themselves with the world
In a sort of– open-book, like yelling into the void/high vibrational frequency, in hopes that someone will come through and get them (understand them)
Sure they reach out to people, but it has to be by choice. So when people want to reach out to them, it has to be through choice as well (requires effort/understanding– shows collaborative effort/compromise/an act of genuinity - Jupiter/Sagittarius)
Sagittarius opens themselves up to experiences, vibrations, atmosphere, opinions– but there has to be space for that to happen within their own self as well
(kind of like, digesting/solidifying their food in order to keep their minds clear and then it’s available to take in more information?)
That ‘solidifying their food’ stuff is their opinions, their experience, what they’ve learnt/grown and made up their minds in. It’s what they give/teach to other people.
When the food becomes too solid (static) they have a hard time pushing it out (thus, stubbornly opinionated/slower to understand things)
But if the food isn’t fully digested yet– they can’t take in more information (food) and gets loud/exert themselves more in order to digest the food quicker (metabolism but through exertion– verbally or physically– for the benefit of themselves, and to the confusion of others: ‘why aren’t they listening?’)
This high-vibrational thing is also more like an open door– emotionally, the door is always open, but most people tend to miss it/don’t really sync up with the Sagittarius Moon– so really, it’s more to do with the dynamic/chemistry they feel with someone. But they always have that passage open – for other people to sync up to, just in case luck comes their way.
It’s kind of like a whale? Like they travel a lone most of the time, but communicate frequently over vibrational energy (not in packs or groups so no physical presence– just from a distance).
They’re self-reliant, because they learn how to navigate- knows when to travel, where to go (seasonal shift, knowledge/higher studies- Sagittarius) It’s a part of their autonomy and personal choice/freedom that is inter-grained into the core of their being.
They meet up for feeding time with others, and utilize/facilitate teamwork flawlessly to catch preys you wouldn’t think they’re lonely creatures. (can be sociable, and are great at being sociable– but it’s only within moments and instances where they’re open to facilitating that)
Being alone isn’t like a really a sad thing. Sure, there’s a pressure of heaviness looming over them but there’s also serenity and preciousness to the depth of the sea
It presents an opportunity where their senses are free from the cluster-fuck that is the world/people/themselves– and there’s a simply joy/freedom (contentment) in observing the natural procession around them
It’s this duality in learning how to cope and be comfortable with themselves that makes Sagittarius placement wiser than most (one of the oldest zodiac signs– but it’s a hard lesson to learn and it has to be earned as well.)
The price of independence that the Sagittarius knows and understands, is that it can be lonely. Although it’s a core-essence of what they want (space to have their own thinking, do their own thing) it doesn’t mean they’re not connected to those inner feelings and depth they may have.
In the moments when they’re isolated, there’s also satisfaction (buoyancy) It’s balanced, they learnt how to balance themselves so they don’t free fall into a certain depth (Scorpio-> Sagittarius)
Copes with the highest of highs and lowest of lows, but because they try to keep balance– there’s a motion upward/forward (archer) that focuses on the highs/hopes rather than the lows (Jupiter - hopes for society/what we desire, ruling planet)
Thus why (in their lows) their sense of humor can be pretty dry, snarky and sarcastic. Because they cope with lows through pushing upwards (raises the bar) so it becomes using wits/quirks to cope with stress/emotions (toning it up into a dark tone, humour is humour, and it’s direct)
Their self-expression becomes shaded in what they’re feeling, but it’s always presented outward/externally as something that would lift another person up instead of bring them down (teaching the value of it to another)– even if they themselves feels pretty down about it generally. (consistent mood and fluctuation this way)
Sagittarius rarely intentionally bring people down with them, the only time they do is when they’re musing/self-reflecting about themselves– and people take that introspection/retrospection to heart. (empathetic people- self-inflicted)
Most people don’t know and has never learnt how to cope with isolation/loneliness the way Sagittarius does (buoyancy) that’s why they get frantic/desperate to help them when the Sagittarius clearly has better ideas/motives on how to help themselves.
There’s also the part of the Sagittarius– when it’s in the Moon that’s a lot more fiery than this loneliness thing I’ve been describing.
This part is more noticeable, it’s the part where they push and arches forward/upwards into their goals, and during every day life instead of being this contemplative side of them
(Think of it as a motion, like with archery. You have to hold that tension and that stance, pull the arrow back and keep it there for a while. That stagnancy then turns into motion– and the rapid precision of the arrow going into the target is the fiery part of the Sagittarius– There’s a balance of both in order to make it work– thus, buoyancy and duality in the Sagittarius nature– coping with both sides of their psyche/completeness of the sign)
(The contemplative part is also what fuels that motion, it requires strength and endurance to hold that position. It marks the hidden potential and the full effect it could have– if you don’t have the strength/endurance, your arrows are going to go wonky once it’s released. It’ll either be off target, goes too little or goes too far. That’s why it’s important to look at both.)
