The emerald fields. Lush green paddy fields on a monsoon morning. Rice grown in the western ghats region is known for its medicinal value. Locally called as Indrayani, the mountain streams give the rice its exquisite aroma and flavor.

Chandanapuri Ghat is a mountain pass across the Sahyadri on Pune-Nasik National Highway (NH50). Some years before this route used to have steep turns which made it difficult to navigate in this part of the Sahyadri mountains. New alignment of NH-50 was opened to traffic from March 2017, this alignment replaces the old 2 lane road of the ghat with a 4 lane toll road. The strategic location of this mountain pass along the industrial "golden triangle" of Maharashtra makes its a key landmark on the NH 50 highway link Einige Jahre zuvor wies diese Strecke steile Kurven auf, die die Navigation in diesem Teil des Sahyadri-Gebirges erschwerten. Die neue Trasse des NH-50 wurde im März 2017 für den Verkehr freigegeben. Diese Trasse ersetzt die alte zweispurige Straße des Ghat durch eine vierspurige Mautstraße. Die strategische Lage dieses Gebirgspasses entlang des industriellen "goldenen Dreiecks" von Maharashtra macht ihn zu einem wichtigen Orientierungspunkt auf der NH-50-Verbindung.

Panhala Fort, Kolhapur Fort Panhala, also known as Panhalgad, is located in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. It was built by King Bhoja in the 11th century. King Shivaji captured the fort in the 17th century and made significant additions to its fortifications. The fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and provides a glimpse into the history of the Maratha dynasty. Visitors can explore the fort's ramparts, gates, water cisterns, and remnants of historical structures. The fort is also known for its association with the Maratha queen Tarabai.
Festung Panhala, Kolhapur Das Fort Panhala, auch bekannt als Panhalgad, befindet sich im westindischen Bundesstaat Maharashtra. Es wurde von König Bhoja im 11. Jahrhundert erbaut. König Shivaji eroberte das Fort im 17. Jahrhundert und baute die Festungsanlagen erheblich aus. Das Fort bietet einen Panoramablick auf die Umgebung und gibt einen Einblick in die Geschichte der Maratha-Dynastie. Besucher können die Festungsmauern, Tore, Wasserzisternen und Überreste historischer Bauten besichtigen. Das Fort ist auch für seine Verbindung mit der Maratha-Königin Tarabai bekannt.
