Something that always makes me sad is the fact that the books kinda ignore how almost all beasts lived their entire lives being wild before they bonded with their keepers.
For example Root, Klava, Kulo, Saif, and Oudie are all predators who, in the wild, would hunt prey for food. But, correct me if I'm wrong, we've never seen any of them hunting.
Yasha said that he, Audrian, and their beasts were only eating enough to survive, but that could easily be fixed if Motya was hunting for food it's unlikely that she's hunting either.
Another example is how in TWT a woman was concerned about her dragon having to do a lot of flying because it was breeding season, and the way the interaction was written made it seem like she was unreasonable.
Something else that upset me was how Cyril said, in response to Goath becoming violent from the weeping tide, that "this is what happens when you let your beasts free roam" implying that he doesn't let his own beasts explore as they want, despite the fact that his beasts are not only well behaved but also the fact that they need to be able to move and exercise naturally like in the wild.
The books also rarely incorporate the beasts as much as they should, treating them more like pets than life long companions that mirror a part of your soul.
Aman was so annoying and Rohit was such a sweetheart.
They could have made such a glorious pair😮💨

Meet Saif, the local senior in high school that still has a baby face
My entire thought process while doing his hair was "fuck it we ball," quite literally bullshitting until it looked good
A lovely silver mounted Saif,

“i can fix him” well i can make his ass fatter
When I talked with Alec, he said he was absolutely sick of cleaning the bathrooms by himself. I’m not sure he regrets deciding to DIY his own chores, but I’m guessing he does.
The puppies are feisty and busy, as good puppies should be.
Bernerd’s not having an easy time at school, but he’s doing his best.
He and Romana both have colds. I’m hoping they keep those to themselves this weekend!
Mostly, though, I hope it’s nothing contagious and that they’ll be okay.
