Since I made that cat post I keep imagining a stranger hearing the characters talk about one another and thinking they're talking about a pet cat.

Like:

"Aw don't take it personally, he always runs and hides when I visit too. He just hates people"

or

"We can't take him on the boat, he's scared of water and it'll just be traumatic for everybody"

or

"Ugh yeah he pissed in the kitchen one time so now I lock him out whenever I'm cooking"
